Oh the Chinese are obsessed with looooong death scenes. I still remember House of Flying Daggers, which I watched at a cinema back then. In the end leads were dying for eternity in a field, like literally, even snow covered FL's body but then she stood up again. The whole cinema hall was laughing, we already forgot that it was a drama and thought it was a comedy. It was too much. Now as a c-drama fan I got used to it though.
