Fans keep complaining and wishing their favs to stop cooperating with him. But actors, even big stars still ready to film with him or even dream about it. Cause fans don't see the whole picture. GJM is the most criticized in the international community, but ppl forget that their opinion doesn't matter. In China GJM has a strong fanbase, 40M followers on weibo, just imagine, it's even more than JJY's 34M. He's a very strict director who takes it all from the actors on his set. But his dramas boost leads and semi-leads career and recognition in the industry. A lot of Esther fans still think that her YWS in MJTY is the strongest acting role, even though she had have a very strict diet for it and tough exhausting filming.
Now I see JJY's fans complaining that she's the only lead who doesn't receive any benefit from VoS. But hello? Isn't it the first time everyone is praising her acting and agreeing that she has improved a lot? GJM has nothing to do with it again? Do you really think gjm is the only director in c drama industry with such behavior? )) it's just popular and welcomed to blame him cause he stands out of others. And unlike other directors he allows to make reuters from the set all the time, so we can witness these disgusting things. But usually other directors forbid taking pictures and videos from the set so we barely know what's happening there. I don't try to defend him, I just want ppl to see a picture wider, that c drama industry is a very cruel place where actors are barely protected
