Agree. The violence aside, this drama is just too boring for me. I watched it until the end just to discover why everyone was so delighted. But it pissed me off till the last scene lol. I think, the main reason for the popularity of this drama is the ML actor, who has done his job well and held it all.

I get your point. I just can't understand how the ML grabbing the throat of FL on screen can delight thousands of watchers all over the world and make this drama one of the best in 2023.

You tell, that real life and fiction are different. But the difference is not that much cause we still judge characters' actions and choices, their moral behavior. We can't praise killers for example even on screen. So I think, the main point for you to insist on the difference is that you like ML or the actor 'cause he's very handsome and so on. Just imagine a regular guy in his place and I'm sure you won't protect him that much )

This is one of the most popular dramas in 2023 with a very high rating on various platforms, and the vast majority of comments (here on MDL page as well) are praising. So why I can't leave another opinion, according to the awful behavior of ML towards FL, that most people try to ignore? Just to versatile the comment section ))

The worst part, when someone of commentators (in russian-speaking segment) was questioning XW behavior towards JXN, in 90% the answer from other watchers was that she is the same as him or even worse o_o Like... what? How does it excuse?

Yeah, but I've seen so many comments to this drama, where girls confessed they want this kind of relationship. So the fiction can influence more then we think.

I've just finished watching and rated it 6.0. I can't stand the abusive ML at all. The story isn't as interesting as it rated, not my cup of tea.
