Many ppl point that gjm is obsessed with tjr, meanwhile we see at least another two directors who obsessed with him not even less. Seems like it's Rui's thing to make directors adore him )

As I read somewhere, he came to MJTY audition and impressed the production team with 10+ smiles for Gong Yuanzhi so he received this role ))

Ikr, Ji Ling is a very unique character for c drama and I can't imagine him portrayed by anyone else. His romantic dynamics with LWY is very special and unique as well. I'd love to watch another drama with this type of romance dynamics, but usually ml and fl types are pretty standard in romance dramas. Long Shen is a more typical "cold CEO" type as well ))
