GJM is the most criticized in the international community, but ppl forget that their opinion doesn't matter. In China GJM has a strong fanbase, 40M followers on weibo, just imagine, it's even more than JJY's 34M. He's a very strict director who takes it all from the actors on his set. But his dramas boost leads and semi-leads career and recognition in the industry. A lot of Esther fans still think that her YWS in MJTY is the strongest acting role, even though she had have a very strict diet for it and tough exhausting filming.
