Just watched ep 6 and my hope is basically mostly gone, the way fu hui seemed traumatised and they just moved past it like itās nothing or even funny, like I can appreciate dark humor but it feels like theyāre laughing at her :( kangning/chaian plot is also no better, itās so stupid the way they keep praising chaian like he did no wrong, like it doesnāt even cross his mind that his obviously hostile mom basically bullied the FL family out of there, like what is she supposed to do, stand there and take the insult?! It personally doesnāt bother me for the most part and kinda funny sometimes, but I think the problem is that occasionally it feels like the story also agrees with the MLs behaviour and the way the script is written feels kinda condescending to the FLs. Iām still giving this series a chance but I hope that it gets better and the character arcs better be worth itā¦
