I think him not wanting HQ to be implicated in the case could be just an excuse for him to act possessive and also angry because his ego got hurt that HQ wants to divorce, which makes him even more horrible than he already is, but idk maybe I’m thinking the worst of him because i already hate his character so much…

I thought he said he was waiting until they finish investigating what happens to MY father? In my mind ZLY, other than catching feelings for HQ, is trying to convince himself he’s not divorcing HQ to make it easier somehow to help MY investigate HQ? Idk though maybe I’m reading too much into it

I guess technically she killed herself hence MY having to frame the brother for something else. I’m just saying for me personally, that her actions so far are quite justified. I’m not sure I agree ZLY knows it’s false because he seems a bit blinded when it comes to MY, although he might have some suspicion(would love to be proven false on this one though) Curious to see if it will actually get even close to get the brother killed though, I hope tomorrow’s another double eps day!

Really, even ZXW can make her divorce? That's good news lol, because i don't think ZXW mum would since last ep she seems to be pushing HQ to reconcile with ZLY. HQ can do that too? I wonder why she wouldn't just do that then, I totally would've if I was her. I hope this is how they end up divorcing, with HQ actively initiating the divorce

I'm not sure if MY will really be the villain actually, because one thing I like about her as an antagonist is that she actually kinda has solid reasons for everything she does up to now, she's hostile towards HQ because she thinks HQ has something to do with her dad's exile, which is kinda true (at least og HQ); and this time she framed the brother for good reason imo, her maid literally died because of him. I really hope she won't turn into the typical 2 dimensional villain, although that's probably wishful thinking... anyway of all people I think I hate ZYL much more than MY lol, he's irredeemable in my eyes, what an annoying character, When will they divorce already ☹️ i feel so bad for HQ having to put up with this guy...

I wonder if there's still a chance that the bodyguard is endgame? I don't mind either her ending up with him or xi wu, but leaning towards bodyguard after today's eps, also anybody has a theory on the bonus scene of the last episode with the steward whispering to the other guy? What's xi wu planning ... I'm so curious I can' wait until tomorrow, feels like such a long time

Loved today's episodes, so good and satisfying!! What a nice change with 2 episodes almost entirely of the main leads and minimal annoying supporting characters. Hate that the ex got off so easy without JB really addressing just how awful what he did the night before, but i guess nothing actually happened to SY so it's fine... So looking forward to tomorrow, here's hoping for more of this going forward!

me too, if it gets worse, i'll at least stick to watching FL & ML's scenes to the end

I'm not saying his character in JOL is unlikable, I meant the characters in this drama lol (esp. ex husband), I was annoyed while typing so I was probably a bit unclear

Why would they even want that, they're both playing really annoying unlikable characters, wouldn't viewers grow to dislike these actors instead? Or do they actually somehow not understand that these two are such unlikable characters 🤣 maybe all press is good press i guess, as long as people are talking, very frustrating for us watching the drama though...
