Yeees! It's mainly because of him that I'm so very frustrated about TharnType plot going awry halway through when…
I loved TharnType and him and Gulf even with the plot problems but yes, I'd love to see him in a more mature role in a very high quality show though. He has the skills and potential to do even more.
I always find it funny how someone can rate this a 2.5 and write a long bible about a show they don’t even like…
I don't mind negative reviews if the people didn't like and it's totally ok and they're in their right, but don't write a full review for a show you only watched 2 or 3 episodes of it lmao That's my issue... they say they dropped the show (ok), but then write a review as if it's for the whole show not having all the information or watching more than half of the episodes.
I was legit CRAVING to see Tharn being introduced to Type's parents therefore I'm a bit disappointed; also I somehow…
Tharn will be introduced to his parents, and I think a scene with Khom too in the special episode. As to the rest yeah, the episode was perfect except for the Lhong aftermath which was very lacking.
Those are my only complaints. I needed Lhong to go to prison, what he did was warranted more than dropping off.…
I was confused too, I was expecting that they'd do that. At least they could dropped those last scenes with Lhong and his sister and replace it with a scene of them talking to Tar and Tar saying he doesn't want to press charges and wants to move on (not satisfying but more realistic and better explained). I think we needed that explanation as to why Lhong's aftermath was simply dropping out university and "losing Tharn". On Love By Chance there were no mentions of Lhong either and Tum didn't know what had happened, which indicated that Lhong never suffered legal consequences for what he did.
Those are my only complaints. I needed Lhong to go to prison, what he did was warranted more than dropping off.…
I agree. And lets not forget he literally paid people to drunk rape a minor. It's not Tharn he has to apologize to. Actually, I think that what Lhong did to Tharn though bad, it's very minor compared to paying men to rape a minor and try to kill someone. I think they had enough evidence to lock him up. Unless Tar didn't want to report the crime or the judicial system in Thailand is a mess. I don't feel sorry for Lhong at all (but the actor playing him was AMAZING) but I would have a little more empathy, but not much, if Lhong actually apologized to Tar, the true victim in all of this. This is my only criticism to both the novel and show.
The ending was...okeyish, i guess. The payoff seemed a bit too shalow for Lhong, he just dropped out of school…
Those are my only complaints. I needed Lhong to go to prison, what he did was warranted more than dropping off. Tharn and Type should both have met Tar and talk to him. I didn't like how they brushed off Lhong's situation but I was already expecting because in the novel he also simply drops off and disappears. Also it's not to Tharn Lhong needs to keep apologizing, it's to Tar. As to the family they will be heavily on the extra episode where Type will introduce Tharn to his family. I was sad because I expected it to be on this episode and a scene apologizing to Khom. But all in all I liked this episode and cried a lot. Solid 8,5 if not even a 9 for me too. Some inconsistencies in the script but the acting, directing and editing made up for it.
Not much. The author of the novel said that they're still writing the WinTeam book and doesn't want spoilers for them in the show. They barely show up in the novel that UWMA is based off. It's unlikely we'll see much of them in the show, but they become a couple. There are talks of making a show based on the WinTeam novel and having them as the lead couple. I think the promotion was misleading because we will barely see their relationship on this show. But I want to watch them on a show only for them, so I can't wait.
I've been into BL a long time. A veteran going back as far as the mangas Zetsuai and Fake. To see so many BL being…
He is indeed an amazing actor. I didn't watch WTD but I got to know him on TharnType and he's amazing there. Even though he plays a college boy, the role is complex and he really shines and shows his acting skills in there. One of the most talented actors I've seen in all these thai BLs. I also hope he gets more roles and more variety because he's so talented. I don't know if we'll see him in much more dramas for a while though, because he wants to finish his PhD and maybe pursue an academic career later.
I know that the director P'New is very friendly with the cast of LBC and apparently can't live without them. Ok…
Sorry to chime in again. Yes, fans are childish and you might have a point. I haven't paid attention to promotion so I have no idea what is going on, but I think all those LBC cameos were too much. With exception from Perth who did amazing in his few minutes on screen on UWMA, the inclusion of the other LBC cast in this show seemed extremely forced and unnecessary. Mean's role as Alex was unnecessary too. I mean I get it but the extremely loud dramatic music when he was hitting on Pharm (on a creepy and all too insisting way) made it seem like he was going to have a role as a villain or something creating drama and trying to breaking them apart, but in the end it was meaningless. Plan's role was forced and also filler content and what was the point of him hitting on Pharm too out of the blue? Same with Gun, he was just there. We also had a cameo from the guy who played Pound but he had no lines, so it didn't annoy me lol Also the girl that plays Manow had the exact same role here as the one she had in LBC, except more lines. This show has amazing potential with the beautiful story and the cast, but it should have been directed by another director with more nuance and tact. The directing and editing of this is all over the place. P'New's directing style might have worked with a story like LBC, but it doesn't fit this type of story. It also has too much filler content. I'm sad because this show had everything to be a masterpiece with another directing and editing style, screenwriting and attention to detail.
They do but they didnt show this in the show and in book it was only mentioned that they spend a lot of time together.…
I haven't finished episode 9 yet, but so far yes. There is a line between being shy and new in these things and acting as if you're scared of your partner or rejecting them in panic. I don't think it's the actor's fault but perhaps the way the actor was directed in which they took his shyness overboard. I tried to interpret that maybe Pharm is afraid because of what happened to him as In when he loved Korn and that the trauma translated to his present life as Pharm. At the same time it's just too much panic and terror near Dean and they should tone this down if they want to make us believe that these two are falling in love beyond the "soulmate in past life" draw to each other. I also think they are going too overboard with the constant meddling and comments from the group of friends. They are cute and supportive but their interest on their relationship is too much and too artificial. Show me Dean and Pharm's relationship instead of trying to convince me of their love through their friends commenting how in love they are. Also these "group of friends scenes" feel like long fillers to me sometimes I feel that In and Korn's relationship has much more depth even if we only see some snippets of it. When it comes to Pharm and Dean I'm a bit on the fence as I sometimes find it cute, other times I don't see it. I need them to show me something more.

If that's the case that they spend so much time together, why does Pharm always look like he's in panic or extremely uncomfortable whenever he's with Dean and whenever Dean touches him the slightest? Why does Pharm look like he doesn't want to be near Dean or look him in the eye? The only thing that tells me Pharm loves Dean is how he gasps and smiles embarrassed when he's not with him and the friends are mentioning his relationship or when he was texting Dean. Also an exception was when Pharm got the initiative to kiss Dean on the car... besides that Pharm looks like he can't wait to get far from Dean. I figured they'd be spending time together offscreen given that they seem to love each other so much but barely speak on screen. Don't get me wrong, some scenes are cute and I melt with the way Dean looks at Pharm... and maybe Pharm is like this in the novel too, but in the drama it puts me off and makes it seem like Pharm doesn't want to be near Dean most of the time. I can feel genuine love between Korn and In, but Dean and Pharm there's something lacking here to me.
