Why R U had good moments but it was an unorganized mess since the beginning, even before the Corona issue. It never had a direction, just many ideas glued together, some of them promising but it had no direction. That was my issue with the show. My Engineer might not have the budget Why R U had or the over the top gimmicks, but it's a cohesive show from the beginning, where the screen time between the couples is well distributed and the story is organized and has a direction and overall cohesiveness that glues everything together. We can see that there was good planning from the beginning, both in the script writing and directing, and unfortunately I can't say the same from Why R U.

I hate the dub voice too and it annoys me that they don't turn off the noise of the mic when he speaks. And the voice doesn't match the actor at all. However I then got used to it and I'm not as annoyed now as before lol

But yeah, he's too over the top in the way he rejects every slight display of affection from Bohn, even something innocent like holding his hand lol

Same. Some people hate on Bohn because of his jealousy and impatience sometimes and I understand it and I didn't like his outburst either. However, he can also be very patient. Every time he tries to show the least affection to Duen (and I'm not even saying sexual or anything), it looks like Duen is disgusted. Maybe since this is Duen's first relationship and he's so sheltered, at 1 month of relationship I can understand him not being ready to kiss, but being that he has already slept in Bohn's bed (2 meters apart), I don't understand why he's so scared of something simple like Bohn putting his hand on his in the bus. He always respected Duen's boundaries. He tries, is always rejected by Duen who acts as if he's disgusted and then he backs off and patiently waits until Duen is ready and that's great. Also if his boyfriend acts all disgusted of any type of touch, I can see why Bohn would get a bit jealous and think that Duen maybe doesn't love him that way (look at the kinder way he treats Frong). Duen's love language is different and he shows his love in other ways and I get that, but eventually he'll have to also meet Bohn half way and don't reject his affection all the time and show a little bit of affection himself.

From those I've only watched Kiss Me Again and I confess that I only watched the PeteKao scenes. Some of it was messy and I liked PeteKao and their relationship much better in Dark Blue Kiss. I wanted to watch Puppy Honey because of OffGun but now I think I won't waste my time with that haha

Please I love both actors and I need to see Plapodd in a BL again! I desperatedly wanted a BL that has SunMork as the main couple but I'll also be satisfied with this pairing.

No shade but Fong had better chemistry with Tine at least in the last episodes. His body language towards Tine was more lovingly and even the way he looked at him than Sarawat in the last episodes. I even ghost shipped them in the last episode and I didn't even know about Tine having been Fong's first love. But now many things make sense lol

I didn't watch those 2 BL you mention (I'll put them on my list though) but I've watched several other BL, mostly Thai. I began watching 2gether from the beginning and as many others I was very disappointed. On twitter, youtube and even here on MDL I saw people saying this was the best BL to date, a game changer, perfection, etc. Had I began watching the show due to those comments, I'd have been even more disappointed. I really liked the first 3 or 4 episodes. Then it became a bit bland but still watchable and then episodes 11 to 13 were disastrous in my opinion. But still when I loved it at the first 3 or 4 episodes, never had I thought to myself that it was the best BL ever. I think it depends on a persons' expectations and what other BLs they've watched before.

What other dramas has he directed that had issues with the script? But I agree, someone should've spoken up. Or even if they were just following the script, they could have directed the actors to better body language that could express their romantic love for each other. I have no idea how directing works, but from what I hear from other shows, I think that directors have enough freedom to change the body language and add some stuff here and there. For example in the high five scene (is that written in the script? Was this Bright and Win's idea?) say "nope" and have them properly hug and act as if they're happy for getting back together. Film a bit longer them looking at each other lovingly. Say "cut" when Bright quickly takes off his arm from Win and keeps touching his bandmates. Have some understanding of the characters and make them act accordingly.

Also yeah, someone in the writing or production team should have spoken up that it made no sense in the finale episode not having a romantic scene of Sarawat and Tine in private where they express their feelings directly to each other, show how much they missed each other, hug, something!

And even if that's the case, why didn't the writers writer a better romantic getting back together scene of them alone after the concert thing? Maybe they had to record all the scrubs concert (the 1st and the last concernt) in the same day but still makes no sense why they wrote their get back together like this and let the awkward high five pass. No excuse for the atrocious writing of the last 3 episodes, lack of chemistry and couple body language and choppy editing. Or did they record the whole last 3 episodes in the beginning too? Makes no sense to me.

What was the rating before? It's at 8.6 now.

When Tine was awake and listening to music, Sarawat simply turned his back on Tine on the bed and stood there 2m apart from him with his back turned. Sarawat from the first half of the show would have cuddled Tine and reassure him. I found it so weird when he simply turned his back on Tine 2m apart from him. But then next episode he seemed to want to get it on with Tine and go into the shower with him and Tine looked terrified, like he wanted absolutely no physical contact with his boyfriend. It all looked so weird. Also the editing of this show is so weird because on episode 12 it looked like Sarawat didn't tell Pam he was dating Tine and to stop acting like that, but then on episode 13 they make it seem like he told Pam, it's just that they didn't show it? A was confused... a whole mess lol

On the last episode I actually ghost shipped them. There is a scene when he's consoling Tine that he puts his hand on Tine's leg which has more chemistry and looks more natural than Sarawat and Tine ever looked in the rare times they touched. Also the way he put his arm around Tine's shoulder in the last episode. They touched more and were closer than Sarawat and Tine during the finale lol When I was having these thoughts I didn't even know Tine was Tong's first love in the novel lol

I think Krist is not comfortable with BL, but he's comfortable with Singto after all these years. Also their ship is their big money maker, so they keep promoting it after all these years and they seem genuinely good friends who enjoy promoting together. I think Bright is not comfortable with BL either. GMMTV might try to milk BrightWin more and give 2gether a 2nd season (though I think it'd be a disaster if they don't get it together with making Sarawat and Tine look like a couple) or they might give BrightWin some variety shows as themselves and make them do fanmeets and such for years like OffGun and KristSingto do despite not acting together in BLs anymore. But I don't see Bright wanting to do more BL, he doesn't look comfortable with it so I think he'll get back to the het roles like before, but maybe now on more mainstream dramas due to his success.

I felt some chemistry and spark in the beginning. I think that as the characters got closer, the actors looked awkward with each other. The few kisses looked awkward as if they didn't want to be there, the touches felt awkward and from then on they looked more and more awkward, specially after they get together officially. Even the way Sarawat looked at Tine when they were together officially looked awkward and like he was uncomfortable. Maybe the directors/writers saw how awkward they looked with skinship and therefor eliminated almost all skinship while they were together officially and didn't have them kiss as boyfriends? I'm trying to come up with possible explanations to that disaster ending and disaster 3 last episodes in general lol

I'm not saying ZonSaifah are the main couple or are not (I have no idea in this mix of ideas), I'm just saying that the episodes airing between the pandemic issue already looked disjointed and a mix of several different ideas and styles without direction. The scenes with ZonSaifah never connected with the FighterTutor ones nor with the million other side couples since early on. If it was just the pandemic, the show would have looked consistent from the beginning. It always felt like they just wrote as they go without a definite plan. I'm not hating on the show, there were some things I liked, I'm just saying that it looked unorganized and disjointed since the first episodes (for me) before the pandemic. I'm glad they'll at least try to film what's missing when they can.

Duen was annoyingg me in some episodes and I kept wondering if he really felt at least attracted for Bohn. However I loved this scene, it was so romantic and cute. Duen shows his love his own way, he just needs to wake up and grow up a bit more so that he's more aware of things.

My issue with Saint was not his acting itself as I think he really improved since LBC, but my issue was mostly the way he attacked Zee in bed simply looked weird to me. It was like a bull attacking its pray and it didn't translate well on camera. I felt like he wasn't in sincrony with his partner and instead of working with him, he was working "against" him to overpower him. I didn't like the adam apple biting (which we had to watch in 2 different scenes) and the putting the necklace in the mouth wasn't sexy at all. Plus the way he almost looked angry when he was trying to portray desire before the bed scenes. Too much aggressiveness that didn't go well with the moments in my opinion. But it could be my bias because I didn't like the character Tutor at all. I don't know if this is the actor's doing or if he was instructed like that by the director/acting coaches/script writers... but it simply was too much. Zee on the other hand seemed much more natural and not over the top and looked like he was trying to coordinate with his partner.

I loved him in the beginning but then he began to annoy me a lot and in the beach he was insufferable. And me not liking Tutor is not Saint's fault. Though in a live with Zee Saint said he created Tutor by himself which makes me wonder what were the writers and directors doing then if an actor has to develop their character alone.

I understand the pandemic issue, but the plot and editing were already a mess since the beginning with so many ideas (some of them interesting and promising) and too many characters and not really deciding on what direction to take or overall plot. Then at some point and even before the pandemic, it looked so disjointed as if ZonSaifah scenes were from a totally different show than FighterTutor.

I felt that Bright began well, but then after a few episodes he seemed like he totally disconnected from his character and didn't care anymore, specially towards the ending.
