i dont usually write long things like this especially for shows but i have some things to say.. so i have seen…
I think King is just confused. He obviously has feelings for Ram and his attraction for him lead him to pursue Ram. But now that Ram is opening up more and King is falling more and more, he's getting overwhelmed. I have no idea about their pasts, if this is their first relationship in general or not, if they've ever been with a man before or something, but they seem very inexperienced navigating these feelings. But the relationship is beautiful with both taking care of each other.
As to Bohn and Duen I want them to work out their issues and end up together, but I think they needed this to learn. Both have communication issues, though Duen is a little better at it and he's good at setting his boundaries. Both Bohn and Duen are very immature when it comes to relationships and I hope that this set back makes them grow. Bohn should've been sincere, but at the same time he didn't cheat and Mind's advances were against his will and he tried to stop them. But he should've been honest and stop the teasing. These 2 need to learn how to properly communicate if they want their relationship to succeed. And for anyone doubting Duen's feelings for Bohn, we could see here how devastated he was.
Why jinx us like this :( Haven't we suffered enough in the last weeks?! *weep*
Just came here to say I think it's hilarious how everyone is so bitter about the high five (me too) and it extends to hilarious comments on other series too. Nice to see you again on this one haha
Same!! It didn't feel like just 12 minutes to me too- it felt eventful but not too busy, if you catch my drift…
I interpreted this way too. I felt like he was jealous of seeing Tae Joo doing to the other guy what he did to him that he had felt was so intimate. I think the bad habit is that Tae Joo is so flirty with everyone and that makes Kang Gook jealous and sad.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE!!! I am just seriously wondering WTF was that look Pun gave Arm as he rubbed…
Maybe I'm seeing things, but I think Pun was admiring Arm's. butt. Because contrary to most BL show troupes, his attraction for men is already present from the start and even coexists with him falling for Nott. Or am I reading too much into the scene?
I don't know if this is intentional or not, but despite Pun obviously having feelings for Nott, we can see him admiring other men like when he was looking at Arm's butt when he moved to his room after Arm fell off the bed or even the way that he looked at his ship work partner (can't remember the name now). Like they're trying to step away from the typical BL troupe "straight guy who only feels attraction for this specific man and was never attracted to any man before" and having Pun displaying attraction for other men too like it's more common to happen in real life. Or maybe I'm reading too much into this or seeing things? lol
I laughed so hard at them poking fun at the "4th episode conflict".
Same, it was hilarious. And they also made fun of the secondary characters serving the purpose of advancing the main ships' relationship. And they made fun of "imaginary BL ships" and social media.
They said don't expect it to make sense, to be logical and yet they keep dropping knowledge like this?!.. Every…
For real. I just watched the 4 episodes and I'm amazed how such a "non sense" show is doing what many others BL won't do: explicitly aknowledge that drunk rape is wrong and a crime. I also love the little moments when Nott shares his thoughts on love. Or when they go meta and reference other BLs and BL troupes. This show is more than it meets the eye and the best thing is that it doesn't try to be more than it.
This show might be a crackhead fever dream but it's one of the few Thai BLs that I've seen directly aknowledging that drunk rape is always wrong and a crime. And they even have the meta self awareness to make fun of several BL troupes on purpose.
its pretty good so far. sister porpla and the entire series will make you laugh and smile.
I'm watching and enjoying it, even though I don't normally like the comedic sounds they use in Thai shows and I was a bit thrown of by the laughing track. I only now noticed it is the same director of Why R U and I'm baffled haha
Yes, you should definitely give it a try. Even though the series is wild, it also adresses serious topics.
I'm on episode 2. At first I was like "what is this mess? The sound effects, the laughing track, the weird special effects, the nonsense, wtf?" but now somehow I'm enjoying this a lot. It's funny and doesn't take itself seriously. I'm in. Do you know what is the day the episodes come out?
Why? Covid effect? Still, this drama was shot before all that. And if some rumors(?) are to be believed, the last…
Exactly, none of this makes sense to me. I really can't understand. None of the final decisions make sense weather they wanted to please novel fans or weather they wanted to please BL fans. If all the changes were to please the novel fans, they'd have included the cinema date and other romantic scenes of the novel which don't even involve sex or anything raunchy, so it absolutely makes no sense. They had already given us awkward one way kisses, so including a mutual kiss wouldn't be an issue and would please both novel fans and BL fans in general and it wouldn't affect the PG 13 rating of the show, since they had already the awkward kisses, boob grabbing, drunk people and all that. They can't even use the excuse of "it was too much to pack in, we had no time for it all"... since they wasted lots of time in the last episodes with redundant flashbacks. Please someone make it make sense.

Exactly. So they listen to the novel fans after them not liking the trailer and change it up to follow the book more, but still take away/don't include romantic scenes from the book that the novel fans were expecting to see? Makes no sense to me. Actually this whole issue with the trailer and novel fan backlash makes it make even less sense than before given the final product.

I don't think so. They wrapped filming much before Corona lockdown was even mentioned. I'm baffled why they didn't follow the first trailer direction, everything looked better. But also they didn't include the movie date scene which is a scene from the book, so it makes no sense to me that hearing the protests of the novel fans, they'd take out important romantic scenes from the book and never include them. Whatever happened there makes absolutely no sense to me.
Yeah this the first trailer I saw and I thought it was good. I didn't realize it caused quite a commotion in Thailand…
Why did the first trailer cause commotion? Why didn't they use any of these scenes/concepts? I know sometimes they record fake trailers before the actual releases and then reshoot the scenes, but why not reshooting and keeping this level of intimacy? What happened?
Yes, you should definitely give it a try. Even though the series is wild, it also adresses serious topics.
Thanks. I'll watch. Do you know where I can find the official links/uploads? I'm searching on twitter but can't seem to find. I'd like to watch from the official sources.
