Remember when she was in a coma after being struck by that car, where was her family? What happened to her stalker?…
I think the stalker was caught after Tendo wrestled him to the ground, and before he and Nanase went in the ambulance. As to her family, I thought the very same thing - especially when she was in a coma.

I rarely watch J-dramas but I happen to like this show, though there were multiple second hand embarrassments.…
I saw his smile quite a few times, especially when he watches Nanase eating something hot. Like in Episode 6 when he gives Nanase the Octopus dumplings that he says you have to have in Osaka; Nanase exclaims that its hot, he gives one of his little smiles. Also, I think he says more with his eyes in this drama, and he shows his care by how he is affectionate with her, holding her hand, running his hands through her hair, buying her that chocolate pastry on Valentine's Day, going to the amusement park and riding rides he's uncomfortable with, in particular his fear of heights on the Ferris wheel which he went on for Nanase. That's the kind of "unsmiling" guy I could definitely be with. :) Thanks for reading.

I found it on Viki under the name "An Incurable Case of Love".

The cast is wonderful, and there are several medical stories handled well with empathy and humor when appropriate.…
Finally, some POSITIVE comments about Mone and her character Nanase! I think she played this perfectly! She started out as a school girl, naive and silly, when she is faced with someone passed out in front of her. She meets Dr. Tendo who is jogging by and her entire life is changed. At first, she works hard at nursing school while praying she will meet with the handsome doctor again. For me, in this drama, Nanase grows into a real, adult nurse after getting reamed out by her "love" and it makes her take her dedication to be a nurse more seriously. And as she grows, Dr. Tendo watches and slowly falls for her, despite his not wanting to. I really LOVE this story and how they BOTH mature and find love in each other. I've watched it over and over again - not only because of the gorgeous Takeru Satoh! Thanks for reading.

A few funny, cute and touching moments. But I wasn't thrilled. I didn't think it was a role that suited Takeru…
For me, I really loved this drama. I thought Satoh was brilliant in his role of a doctor grieving the loss of a loved one (whom he couldn't save) while his whole reason for being a doctor, beating illnesses, was turning upside down (according to the conference he spoke at in). As one of the doctors said, "He's changed. He used to smile more." Satoh played this perfectly, in my opinion. And Nanase started out doing it for Tendo, but after Tendo reamed her out, telling her to "Get out before you do real harm", (as well as from a fellow trainee nurse that Nanase was lucky as she only became a nurse because of Tendo) Nanase didn't just sit & feel sorry for herself. She realized WHY she really wanted to be a nurse, and she even went to the Temple to pray that she forget Tendo and just focus on her work. Both Satoh and Mone played their parts perfectly, in my opinion, and you can see the subtle changes in each of them as the drama went on. THIS is why I enjoy "An Incurable Case of Love", as well as it's being pretty funny. Thanks for reading.

how this has 8+ rating uhh we still making this kind of cliche dramas??
To me the story IS cliche, but the acting is great, in my humble opinion. At first, yes, the female lead was a bit silly, but she was only 22 and was just STARTING to learn how to both be a nurse AND an adult. Nanase grew on me as she learned to put her feelings aside & work hard to be a really good nurse. And the male lead, Dr. Tendo, showed early on that he actually DID remember her 5 years before - she made an impression on him way back then. He acknowledges her positive qualities right after they both saved the little girl from falling from the roof. But he's so obstinate that he continues to treat her rudely, while continuing to see her good qualities, too. This, to me, is a drama that's deeper than it seems. Thanks for reading.

Im gonna rewatch this again for the second time soon.
I'm on my 20th time or so! I love that it's a good story, funny, and only has 10 episodes, so the story goes quickly. No messy, drawn out misunderstandings, no triangle, no exes getting in the couple's way. They get together and stay together! Good for me. :)

the frmale lad pisses me off this show wouldn't have been half as bad if they gave her an actual personality and…
I disagree. I know of a few women like this (one is my best friend) who come across as silly, immature, stupid even, but who are such terrific people. For the first time I found the female character to be strong & independent. She grows from a girl, a nursing trainee, who has her heart & head in the clouds, to someone who puts her feelings aside and truly believes in herself & works hard to be a top-notch nurse. This is why she's called a "warrior" or "hero" to her coworkers. No one else was brave enough to be her true self with Dr. Tendo when so many just cowered from him in fear. And if you look closely, you could see Tendo falling for her bit by bit. Why else would he say "I'll be your boyfriend" like he did if he didn't feel something for her. He was more than capable of staying stoic with her but he let her in, went on dates with her - even when she made mistakes in "helping him" at his apartment he held her, stroked her hair and said "I'm not dating you so you can take care of me". If he didn't care, why WAS he dating her?

I absolutely loved it. My dad was a doctor and I am a nurse, and believe me MANY doctors are as cold on the outside…
I agree 100%! The more I watched "An Incurable Case of Love" the more I understood the messages of looking past the exterior, giving people second chances, growing by working hard & giving it your all and being kind to yourself so you can be kind to others. Also, don't always write people off when you first meet them, give yourself the chance to get to know them & see what good people they really are! This was my intro to Japanese dramas and I'm so hooked! Thanks for reading.

I loved the drama, but it was nothing new that I haven't watched. The one complaint I had with it was that the…
No, it wasn't anything new - and yet it is a really good story. It not only shows that someone who is simply very expressive, open & honest with her feelings, can come across as silly & a fool, but it's in the process of learning how to put her feelings aside and become a top-notch nurse, it also shows that someone who is not expressive in the least & comes across as cold & mean, can learn to truly fall in love with someone who is absolutely "not a good match" on paper, but who is strong, has a good outlook on life and is able to put some of the fun, the laughter back into his broken life, his broken heart. To me this is a story about looking past the exterior to be able to experience growth, and you can see the growth in each of them. This is simply my humble opinion. Thanks for reading.

Also, one question: How can someone fall in love with her dead sister's boyfriend in just a few days? It seriously…
Actually, as Dr. Tendo points out later in the story, she isn't "in love" with him. She just sees him as someone who has shared love & pain over her sister.

This has a high rating so I'm tempted to watch but the poster is ridiculous.... is he trying to use the stethoscope…
This is actually a funny "I'm trying to figure out your brain" type of poster. This is actually a very good, well balanced drama. It's funny, but is also serious and deals with issues of death & trauma. The female lead, who comes across as silly, is just very expressive, open & not afraid to stand her ground when she believes in something (or someone). She works very hard to become an outstanding nurse. The male lead, who comes across as aloof & mean, has been hurt while having to watch someone he loves die & he, as a doctor, couldn't save her. And I love that there are no real "third party" issues, no mean family, no triangle. She, Nanase, just continues being herself & he, Dr. Tendo, slowly sees her hard work & he comes to value her as a person & as a nurse. I highly recommend this drama - the story may be a bit cliche but the actors & how they portray their characters, is so much more!

i think i have to go back and watch the dramas i refused to watch because of comments and judge for myself because…
@Angel, same here! For instance, the synopsis they give for Mysterious Love is so misleading! It's so much more intense, and the characters are not typical "arrogant boss & quirky girl" in any way! Take it from someone who watches and rewatches Mysterious Love over and over - THIS is a drama worth checking out! Thanks for reading. :)

I'd love to watch this drama as I love the acting of the male lead, Li Xian. But I need to know if they break up at any point and is there a triangle? If so, I may not watch as I can't stand these tropes. Thanks for reading! :)

Title Love by Chance Spoiler
Having watched this series multiple times, I still view Kengkla as a disgusting, self-centered, arrogant rapist ... plain and simple. He didn't care about Techno at all, only his own selfish pursuit of an innocent person. There was no mention of Techno being gay at all, yet Kengkla wasn't even bothered about that. Kengkla knew what he wanted and, as all rapists do, considered Techno to just be a means to an end. Kengkla simply wanted to exert his power over Techno. No "relationship" about it at all. And I was also disgusted by Techno's brother, Technic, who pretty much delivered Techno up to be raped, for his OWN selfish gain! The drama of LBC was good (and I still watch it occasionally). Ae & Pete are a charming couple who's communication really developed & got much better. Tin/Can was a relationship that took some getting used to as Tin was really mean in the beginning. But I warmed very much to them and was profoundly affected by their story. (Thank goodness for Season 2). I do recommend Love By Chance as a really cute drama, but there should be some kind of warning that there is a rape scene. Thanks for reading.

Ha Seok Jin is one of my very favorite Korean actors. He can be whatever character you need him to be: serious, funny, mysterious, angry ... just look into his eyes and you see what emotion he is portraying. Very talented actor!

Have you seen My Little Happiness with Daddy Tang? Definitely one with the main couple fixing their own problems, a triangle in the beginning that, again, they solve together, and chemistry to swoon over!!! And it’s FUNNY, too!

Amen to that! Sunshine of my Life is such a well rounded drama, full of intelligent (albeit sometimes extremely annoying) characters, beautiful cinematography and a lovely OST, that even when Zhang Han isn’t on screen I enjoyed watching this. I agree. She allows her good nature and her “guilty conscience” to make her acknowledge his very presence. Yes, he’s a senior designer. And I get that she feels that Minxuan doesn’t trust her. But, especially after she and Minxuan are together, couldn’t she trust HIM that he knows the 2ML better than she does? He’s not being irrational , so be loyal to your boyfriend! Besides, the 2ML is just ANNOYING! 🙄
