a culinary drama that will not remain unforgettable

First I watched this drama for Ethan, who I really like, and he did a great job, as usual.

I enjoy food dramas, but there are so many scenes on food (including a regular chorus on street food that makes you wonder what it's doing in the drama) that we have a bellypain!

Regarding the story, the plot of the chef who loses his sense of taste is a classic in culinary dramas.
It's well done and the first episodes are catchy.

But we get lost very quickly in a multitude of additional characters, parallel stories, useless scenes, which leads to a very slow and quickly boring narration.

The CL's relationship develops slowly, very slowly, first from chef to apprentice, then lovers. But OTPs are too rare. The romance isn't enough seen on the screen. The focus is really on cooking and competitions.
The "villain" character is quite coherent, but I don't really understand her "accomplices" (doctor/lover and brother). How can they let her sink into her obsession like this?

The OSTs are good (even if the occasional singers obviously sing other lyrics :).
But I admit that I don't understand (and don't like) the "Bolywood" final at all.

A delicious gem, don't miss it!

A truly great isekai with Vengo Gao as the ML ♡o｡.(✿ฺ｡ ✿ฺ)

PLOT: The FL, in a coma following an accident, finds herself in a historical world, in the midst of conflicts between martial arts sects fighting over a hidden treasure. She is saved by the ML, a wandering hero, who swore to the FL's mother to always protect her. He will try to heal her, bring her back to her sect, and discover who poisoned her.

+++ A truly great Vengo Gao, in the role of the hero, powerful, protective, and madly in love. Xuan Lu is also excellent, and the CL has intense, flavorful interactions and great chemistry.
+++ Lively direction, with suspense carried through to the end. The fight scenes are fantastic. Kudos to the actors!
+++ Excellent actors (including the villain sister, whom we all want to see die :)
+++ The OSTs are well-suited, matching the comedy tone of the drama.

=> A delicious gem, don't miss it! I'll definitely watch this series again :)

PLOT: La FL, dans le coma à la suite d'1 accident, se retrouve dans 1 monde historique, au milieu de conflits de sectes d'arts martiaux se disputant un trésor caché. Elle est sauvée par le ML, héros errant, qui l'avait juré à la FL's mother de tjs la protéger. Il va essayer de la soigner, la ramener ds sa secte et découvrir qui l'a empoisonnée.

+++ Un très great Vengo Gao, dans le rôle du héros, puissant, protecteur, éperdument amoureux. Xuan Lu est excellente aussi et le CL a des interactions intenses, savoureuses, et 1 belle alchimie.
+++ Réalis° vive, avec un suspense mené jusqu'au bout. Les scènes de fight sont fantastiques, bravo aux acteurs !
+++ Excellents acteurs (y compris la Villain, que l'on veut tous voir mourir :)
+++ Les OST sont bien adaptées, correspondent au ton Comédie du drama.

=> A good Rom-Sport series focusing on billiards, with a great CL.

PLOT: ML, was a genius snooker gamer, abruptly retired 10 years ago. He now studies and lives in Finland. It was there that he met FL, a young 9-ball player, for whom he fell in love at first sight. They become closer and she tries to convince him to return to China and resume his career. That's wath they will do despite the obstacles.

PROS:
+ A convincing CL, with all the green flags: trust, respect, attention, tolerance, etc. A very good performance from the 2 actors.
+ a simple but credible story, without a love triangle, without a vengeful ex, etc. Real life, what!
+ Lots of excellent, endearing actors.
+Well suited OST
+ This is a drama, supposed filmed mainly abroad, but they are some inconsistencies on the reality in Finland (does everyone speak Chinese or English? Large Chinese community in Helsinki? ...)

CONS:
- Some inconsistencies in the timeline
- We remain hooked on this series by the quality of the CL, but the story is too simple for it to always be exciting. OK, a sports career cannot be rebuilt in a day, but certain narrative arcs could have been shortened.

PLOT : Le ML, snooker gamer de génie, a pris une brusque retraite il y a 10 ans, il étudie et vit maintenant en Finlande. C'est là qu'il rencontre la FL, jeune joueuse de "9 balls", pour laquelle il a le coup de foudre. Ils se rapprochent et elle tente de le convaincre de revenir en Chine et de reprendre sa carrière. Ce qu'ils vont faire malgré les obstacles.

PROS:
+ Un CL convaincant, avec tous les green flags : confiance, respect, attention, tolérance, etc. Une très belle performance des 2 acteurs.
+ une story simple mais crédible, sans love triangle, sans ex revancharde, etc. La vraie vie, quoi !
+ Beaucoup d'excellents acteurs, attachants.
+TB OST
+ un drama supposé tourné principalement à l'étranger, mais quelques incohérences sur la réalité en Finlande (tout le monde parle chinois ou anglais ? Large communauté chinoise à Helsinki ? ...)

CONS:
- Quelques incohérences dans la timeline
- On reste accroché à cette série par la qualité du CL, mais la story est trop simple pour que ce soit toujours passionnant. OK, une carrière de sportif ne se reconstruit pas en un jour, mais certains arcs narratifs auraient pu être raccourcis.

A feel-good series with an endearing CL

The story of a girl (FL = Lee Sung Kyung) thrown out of her home with her brother and sister by her father's last wife after his death. She wants revenge, goes to work with the son of the bad wife, ML = Kim Young Kwan. She thought the son was shameless like his mother, but she soon discovers that this is not the case and her business is facing difficulties. She couldn't stop to boss him around and they tend to be attracted to each other.

PROS:
+ A duo of great actors, Lee Sung Kyung and Kim Young Kwan, who bring their characters to life with great talent. This couple is very endearing and shows great chemistry.
+ This is a slow-burn story on the daily life of employees, on family, friendship.
+ OSTs are sweet, pleasant and amplify emotions.
+ Narration is dynamic, without lenght
+ the drama allows us to discover some magnificent landscapes (it makes me want to go to Korea ;)

CONS:
- The character of the mother is detestable, a little excessive, but I suppose parents like that exist in real life.

=> Don't hesitate, it's a touching and comforting drama.

A magnificent audiovisual production on a very "weird" storyline

Mystery-Thriller-Fantasy ❤ with Dilraba & Chen Xing Xu

PLOT: The FL, a sculptor, was trained from childhood to be the Mad Blade in the Nanshan Hunters team (a team that has protected humanity from the Fiends—demons of Earth—for generations). She encounters the ML, Roadsound group's heir, led by Lin Xi Rou (a Fiend who took human form and killed the ML's parents). This pharmaceutical group serves as a cover for Lin Xi Rou to "humanize" other Fiends. The ML (who wants to avenge his parents and find his missing sister) will help the FL, gain her trust, and join the team in their fight against the Fiends.

+++ Dilraba and Chen Xing Xu are fantastic, both in their interactions (real chemistry) and in the action scenes. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
+++ Amazing soundtracks, wonderfully creepy, perfectly suited to the atmosphere.
+++ A cast of excellent actors, talented, convincing, and some genuinely creepy.
+++ Dynamic direction with high-quality CGI (the Chinese are truly masters of this field :)

### The Team is a bunch of misfits who eat and chat, but don't train, don't know how to be prepared... lots of "archaic" rituals and traditions, but nothing else. Brave, but mostly useless.

### The storyline becomes INCOHERENT in the Golden Gate narrative arc: this generation has never been there, but they seem to know the route. They don't even have a way to communicate with those in the mine who are improvising by blowing everything up!! But the Gate Team is even worse (improvising, with Xing Shen summoning demons, etc.). Utter nonsense !!
٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬) ٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬) Not to mention the descent into the abyss by diving without any regard for the rules (decompression stops, communication, etc.) ٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬)
Finally, we'll never know how YT and NJL managed to escape the final "matrix".

=> A magnificent audiovisual production on a very "weird" storyline. The novelist is creative, but it must be a daily nightmare in her head :(

### La Team est une équipe de bras cassés, qui mange, discute, mais ne s'entraine pas, ne sait pas se préparer, ... bcp de rituels "archaiques" et de traditions, mais rien d'autre. Courageux, mais inutiles pr la plupart.

### La storyline devient INCOHERENTE ds l'arc narratif de la Porte Dorée : cette génération n'y est jamais allée, mais ils ont l'air de savoir l’itinéraire. Ils n'ont mm pas de moyen de communicat° avec ceux de la mine qui improvisent en faisant tout exploser !! Mais la Team de la Porte est encore pire (ds l'impro, avec Xing Shen qui appelle les démons, etc.). Du grand n'importe quoi ٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬) ٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬) Sans compter la descente dans le gouffre en plongée sans aucun respect des règles (remontée par paliers, communicat°, etc.) ٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬) Pour finir, on ignorera tjs comment YT et NJL ont réussi à sortir de la "matrice" finale.

=> Une magnifique réalis° audio-visuelle sur une storyline très "perchée". La romancière est créative, mais ç doit être le cauchemar dans sa tête au quotidien :(

With actors of this quality and an intriguing plot, this could have made a great series

For me, a new drama with Marcus Chang (as handsome as ever), it’s not to be missed!

Plot: the ML, CEO, harassed to get married by his grandmother, concludes a "fake boyfriend" contract with the FL, a girl who wants to save her bakery. The ML also does this contract to avenge his grandfather, robbed by the FL's grandfather.

PROS:
+ The FL is sufficiently androgynous to pass for a boy, but even the character is nice, she is stupid (no repartee, no proper thinking, etc.). It's super annoying!
+ CL2 is very funny in learning BL (｡◕‿◕｡)
+ Interesting and current discourse on homosexuality, love between genders.
+ In the 2nd part, the most coherent, the most realistic character, with the best thought out lines, is the sister!

** confession in episode 16. Get together in episode 22, then break-up (as usual)....
** the sister's stylist is talented, she is very elegant, but we can ask questions about the hair style of the men, Marcus Chang and his brother particulary :( :( and in the marriage proposal scene from Marcus, we wonder where the stylist bought his suit blah blah!

CONS:
- Some characters are not very credible and there is a lot of inconsistent behavior: hyper intrusive sister, FL who hides in the bathtub and gets up, mother who sees love everywhere, etc.
- The story gives the impression that Tapei is a village (the protagonists find so often themselves in the same places, the same stores, etc.). The coincidences are too obvious!!
- the mother's character has mental retardation, she acts and reacts like a capricious 10 year old child...
- the FL's family (including the FL) is naive and borders on stupidity, while the evil love rival, who wants to win the competition more than to be loved, is too well informed, always in the right place, super smart and cunning, etc.
- Another cliché of amnesia...
- The basis of the grudge between the 2 families makes no sense. FL's grandfather did nothing wrong...
- The story is poorly written and poorly told (the production is quite quick, but many characters are overplayed, with exaggerated facial expressions at every twist). The last narrative arc of the CL makes no sense: while the FL has already said that she has forgiven him, trusting the ex love rival to make the ML pay for his lies. is just stupid!

=> With actors of this quality and an intriguing plot, this could have made a great series. But it's ruined by a really poorly written story...

Pour moi, un nouveau drama avec Marcus Chang (toujours aussi handsome), ça ne se rate pas !

+ FL suffisamment androgyne pour passer pour un garçon, mais le personnage est gentil mais stupide (pas de répartie, pas de réflexion propre, etc.). C'est super agaçant !
+ Le CL2 est très drôle dans son apprentissage de la BL ( ｡◕‿◕｡ )
+ Discours intéressant et actuel sur l'homosexualité, l'amour entre les genres.
+ Dans la 2nde partie, le personnage le plus cohérent, le plus réaliste, avec les lignes les mieux pensées, c'est la sœur !
Rq : confession dans épisode 16. Get together in episode 22.
Rq 2 : la styliste de la sœur a du talent, celle-ci est très élégante, mais on peut se poser des questions sur le style capillaire des hommes, Marcus Chang et son frère :( :( et dans la scène de demande en mariage de Marcus, on se demande où le styliste a acheté le costume bof bof !

CONS:
- Certains personnages sont peu crédibles et il y a beaucoup beaucoup de comportements incohérents : sœur hyper intrusive, FL qui se cache dans la baignoire et se relève debout, , mère qui voit l'amour partout, etc.
- story qui donne l'impression que Tapei est un village (les protagonistes se retrouvent dans les mêmes lieux, les mêmes magasins, ..). Les coïncidences sont trop évidentes !!
- le personnage de la mère a un retard mental, elle agit et réagit comme un enfant capricieux de 10 ans ...
- la famille de la FL (y compris la FL) est d'une naïveté qui frise la stupidité, tandis que la evil love rival, qui veut plus gagner la compétition qu’être aimée, est trop bien informée, toujours au bon endroit, super intelligente et rusée, etc.
- Encore le cliché de l'amnésie...
- La base de la rancune entre les 2 familles n'a pas de sens. Le grand-père de la FL n'a rien fait de mal ...
- La story est mal écrite et mal racontée (la réalisation est assez rapide, mais beaucoup de personnages sont surjoués, avec des mimiques exagérées à chaque tournant). Le dernier arc narratif du CL n'a pas de sens : alors que la FL a déjà dit qu'elle lui avait pardonné, faire confiance à l'ex love rivale pour faire payer ses mensonges au ML . juste idiot !

=> Avec des acteurs de cette qualité et un plot intrigant, cela aurait pu faire une série géniale. Mais c'est gâché par une story vraiment mal écrite...

Really excellent

An eye-catching plot thanks to the FL's strong personality & the hate-love with the ML.

Following a drowning accident, the FL loses her memory. She was saved by her supposed husband's bodyguard. Th Ml who is the Emperor's favorite high-ranking nobleman. However, the ML's wife was a violent harpy, hated by all. Over the course of various adventures and setbacks, the ML gradually realizes (spoiler) that the FL is not actua his wife.

=> Great great actors (even the support actors). Ding Yu Xi and Peng Xiao Ran show here the extent of their talent, they are truly remarkable!!
=> intense OTPs
=> production without downtime, the cinematography is magnificent and the framing well done.
=> the story is complex (suspense, puzzles) but written with intelligence

However, not everything is perfect:
- some characters are boring: Wen Wan the obsessive and sneaky love rival, Sang Ren the silly and talkative boat servant,
- expected and respected structural codes with a hyper emotional penultimate episode, which suggests a sad ending, but fortunately, there is the final twist which allows a happy ending :)

I will probably watch this series again, of which I enjoyed every moment, for its magnificent images and the 2 lead's talent.

Plot accrocheur par la personnalité de la FL (strong) & le hate-love avec le ML.

A la suite d'une noyade la FL perd la mémoire. Elle a été sauvée par le bodyguard de son supposé mari, le ML, noble haut-placé favori de l'empereur. Cependant, la femme du ML était une harpie violente, détestée de tous. Au fil des aventures et déboires divers, le ML s'aperçoit peu à peu que la FL n'est pas sa femme.

=> Great great actors (mm les support actors). Ding Yu Xi et Peng Xiao Ran montrent ici l'ampleur de leur talent, ils sont vraiment remarquables !!
=> intenses OTP
=> réalisation sans temps mort, les images sont magnifiques et le cadrage bien travaillé
=> histoire complexe (suspens, énigmes) mais écrite avec intelligence

Cependant, tout n'est pas parfait :
- quelques personnages sont ennuyeux : Wen Wan la rivale amoureuse obsessionnelle et sournoise, Sang Ren la servante du bateau idiote et bavarde,
- codes de structure attendus et respectés avec un avant-dernier épisode hyper émotionnel, qui laisse supposer une sad ending, mais heureusement, il y a le twist final qui permet une happy end :)

Je regarderai sans doute à nouveau cette série, dont j'ai apprécié chaque instant, pour ses magnifiques images et le talent des 2 leads.

Grande fresque historique vue des cours intérieures

J'hésitais à me lancer dans cette grande fresque historique de 73 épisodes, malgré les commentaires si favorables. En général, elles tournent autour des intrigues de cour, des luttes pour la succession, avec des complots complexes... Dur de tenir sur la durée malgré le talent des acteurs !

MAIS
- Le point de vue de ce drama est original, car on suit cette histoire avec une vision essentiellement féminine : la vie dans les grandes familles chinoises vues de leur cour intérieure. Et les combats n'y sont pas moins féroces que sur les champs de bataille !
- l'histoire est bien construite, (relativement) réaliste, sans longueur.
- les acteurs sont géniaux et on rit, on pleure, on se bat avec eux.
- Le CL est hyper attachant, même si la pudeur de l'époque n'est pas très favorable aux "sweet moments".

Conclusion : n'hésitez pas et regardez ce chef d’œuvre !! (que je visionnerai certainement à nouveau, malgré sa longueur, car des séries de cette qualité, on ne s'en lasse pas :)

A bittersweet psychological drama.

The cases follow one another over the course of the episodes, evoking multiple aspects of psychological and mental disorders.
The whole is treated with intelligence, finesse, subtlety. Indeed, not everything is necessarily consistent with clinical reality, but I think it is an interesting and educational approach.

I particularly appreciated the way the director visualized the thoughts and the intellectual journey. A big bravo!
To put some balm in the heart of the spectator, there is the performance of ❤❤❤ Jing Bo Ran ❤❤❤, really excellent, talented, funny, seductive, super in the action scenes. I hope to see him again often in new dramas.

The Yang Zi / Jing Bo Ran duo show a beautiful chemistry, which will continue, I hope, in season 2.

The actors besides are all very good: the scenes of psychic disorder are not easy to act, but the actors interpreted them in a masterly way.

The OST are really appropriated.

The whole drama is not really feel-good, avoid watching that on a day when you want to relax, but I highly recommend it.

Just excellent !

Excellent drama, with a special atmosphere, a perfect mix of romance - thriller - humor, and beautifully performed by great actors.

The main couple are too cute, with real chemistry, defending their love at all costs.
The heroine is fine, intelligent, super elegant, and smoothly deals with the worst situations. The ML, nothing to add: it's Kim Min Jae ❤❤❤

The images are magnificent, with the usual care of the KDramas in the framing, the rhythm is removed and the OSTs stick perfectly to the atmosphere.

To watch without moderation...

Heavenly cast but weird story :(

Short fantasy series starring Kim Woo-Bin and Suzy

PLOT: The Satan-angels war has killed almost all the angels. The FL [psychopath, raised in a village by her grandmother] accidentally awakens the fallen angel / genie /Satan (ML), imprisoned in the lamp for 983 years. He must grant her three wishes for her to forget him and return to her life. The angel of Heaven (rather morally gray) is waiting for this moment to kill the ML. Both angels have spirit animals that assist them.

+++ Very strange plot (dreamlike? philosophical?). You have to stick with it in the first few episodes to keep watching.
+++ A killer cast, with angels as beautiful as gods and a gorgeous (and very well-dressed!) FL
+++ The director did a great job with the cinematography: sets, costumes, effects (I love the "evaporation" of the ML), lighting... Everything is top-notch!
+++ Superb OSTs

### A very Orientalist (in the 19th-century sense) reinterpretation of the Aladdin myth and the Arab world (lots and lots of clichés).
### Too much Dubai advertising (ノ°益°)ノ (ノ°益°)ノ
### High-quality CGI (except for the panther, which isn't convincing).

=> Good series, with brilliant actors, but the story (super weird) won't make it a masterpiece...

PLOT: La guerre Satan - anges, a tué presque tous les anges. La FL [psychopathe, élevée ds 1 village par sa gd-mère ] réveille par hasard (?) le génie - ange déchu - Satan (ML) prisonnier ds la lampe depuis 983 ans. Il doit exaucer 3 de ses vœux pr qu'elle l'oublie et revienne à sa vie. L'ange du Paradis (plutôt gris) attend ce moment pr tuer le ML. Les 2 anges ont des animaux spirituels qui les assistent.

+++ Plot très chelou (onirique ? philosophique ?). Il faut s'accrocher ds les 1ers épisodes pr poursuivre.
+++ Un cast d'enfer, avec des anges beaux comme des dieux et une FL magnifique (et très bien habillée :)
+++ Le réalisateur a bien travaillé la cinématographie : décors, costumes, effets (j'adore "l'évaporation" du ML) , lumières, ... Tout est au top !
+++ Super OSTs

### CGI de qualité (sauf la panthère, qui n'est pas convaincante).

Healing family/romance series

PLOT: 2 childhood friends (ML & FL) meet again when FL returns to Korea after leaving work and fiancé in the USA. He will little by little heal her from her traumas and help her find her way. Their friend (FL2), a rescuer, meets a journalist (ML2), a single father. The return of exes and complex family situations will complicate things.

+++ Jung Hae-In & Jung So Min in CL = magical!
+++ Family series with complex, well-developed characters, played with talent.
+++ superb OST
+++ Dynamic production, with the right mix of romance, drama, humor.

### I hate this trend of “long neck” haircuts for men :(

=> Very nice, great performance of the CL, to watch again.

Effective Rom-revenge series (good results compared to the budget :)

PLOT: The FL (architect mother killed and father in prison, then mad) joins forces with the ML, the illegitimate son of a powerful (and cruel) tycoon, to take revenge on this tycoon. However, the truth behind the events of 15 years ago is more complex than it seems...

+++ CL with intense tension and interactions and an excellent chemistry : Sun Jia Qi & Wanyan Luo Rong,
+++ Excellent OSTs
+++ Fast-paced production, without any downtime, with beautiful framing ( areally good job is done on light and frame)
+++ Well-written, coherent story.

### Low-budget series (few costumes, few sets) but even the photomontages are of poor quality :( :( :(

PLOT: La FL (mère architecte tuée et père en prison, puis fou) s'allie avec le ML, fils illégitime d'1 tycoon puissant (et cruel), pour se venger de ce tycoon. Cependant, la vérité derrière les évènements vieux de 15 ans, est plus complexe que ce qu'il semble ...

+++ CL avec tensions et interactions intenses : Sun Jia Qi & Wanyan Luo Rong, et une excellente alchimie

+++ Réalis° rapide, sans temps mort, avec de beaux cadrages.

A series you either love or hate (and it's not for me :(

Billed as a college romantic comedy, but it's more of a parody based on absurdist comedy.

PLOT: The FL student and online manga critic, has a crush on a rather uncommunicative math student. She gradually grows closer to him by becoming his assistant because he's also a manga artist (shojo). However, she published a scathing review of his manga.

+++ Very "manga" or "anime"-like production (framing, animation, situations, soundtracks, etc.)
+++ A bunch of great actors (Shen Yue, Wang Jing Xuan, Zhao Yi Qin, etc.)
+++ All the clichés, but made fun of.

### A humorous comedy ton, that becomes unbearable: idiotic, caricatured behavior, ridiculous characters, etc. I know the goal is humor and derision, but I can't get into it, no matter how talented the actors are. This kind of humor is probably not for me. I only got to the end after a lot of skipping :(

Annoncée comme une comédie universitaire romantique, mais c'est plutôt une parodie basée sur le comique absurde

PLOT: La FL étudiante et critique de mangas en ligne, a un crush sur un étudiant en Maths peu communicatif. Elle se rapproche de lui peu à peu en devenant son assistante car il est aussi mangaka (de shojo). Cpdt, elle a publié une critique acerbe de son manga.

Je sais que l'objectif c'est l'humour et la dérision, mais moi, je n'arrive pas à accrocher, quelque soit le talent des acteurs. Je ne suis allée au bout qu'avec beaucoup de zapping :(

Not as good as I expected (even I'm a Zhang Wan Yi's fan)

PLOT: The vengeful FL kills the tyrannical Royal Princess (the emperor's sister), but is immediately killed by the ML (her lover). She wakes up 10 years earlier, as the hidden Nanwu saintess (an enemy neighbor), before her (catastrophic) wedding. She is determined to correct the mistakes of her previous life. The ML, the leader of the Imperial Guard (and the 7th Prince cursed by astrologers at birth), is intrigued by her saintess tattoo and helps her call off her engagement. She will confront (along with the ML, they are closer to closer) all the problems caused to her family by the super-powerful Royal Princess and her spoiled daughter.

+++ Zhang Wan Yi carries the entire series on his shoulders: he is talented, subtle, and versatile. Ji Tian plays a cold character, which suits her often expressionless face.
+++ Fast-paced production, with no downtime, well-executed suspense and beautiful cinematography (sets, costumes, etc.)
+++ OSTs well suited.

### Storyline often confusing, with many plot holes.
### The emperor is indeed completely unreasonable and naive in this series, sometimes understanding, sometimes angry.
### Ending too rushed: some issues are resolved too quickly, crucial points remain unexplained (flashbacks, previous life, the emperor's resignation, etc.).

=> A fairly good series (thanks to Zhang Wan Yi) with a somewhat worn-out plot, but it could have benefited from better writing.

Plot 2nd chance with Zhang Wan Yi & Jin Tian

PLOT: La FL, vengeresse, tue la Princesse Royale tyrannique (sœur de l'empereur), mais est aussitôt tuée par son lover (ML). Elle se réveille 10 ans + tôt, sainteté cachée de Nanwu (pays voisin ennemi), avant son (catastrophique) mariage. Elle est bien décidée à corriger les erreurs de sa vie antérieure. Le ML, chef de la Garde impériale (et 7e Prince maudit par les astrologues à sa naissance), est intrigué par son tatouage de sainteté, et l'aide à annuler ses fiançailles. Elle va affronter (avec le ML de qui elle est de + en + proche) tous les pbs causés à sa famille par la Princesse Royale super puissante et sa fille pourrie gâtée.

+++ Zhang Wan Yi porte tte la série sur ses épaules : il est talentueux, subtile, versatile. Ji Tian incarne un personnage froid, ce qui convient à son attitude svt inexpressive.
+++ Réalis° rapide, sans temps mort, avec un suspense bien mené et une belle cinématographie (décors, costumes, etc.)

### Storyline svt confuse, avec bcp de plotholes.
### L'empereur est effectivement dans cette série, complètement déraisonnable, naïf, un moment compréhensif un moment colérique.
### Ending trop rush : certains pbs sont résolus trop rapidement, des points cruciaux restent inexpliqués (flash-backs, vie précédente, démission de l'empereur, etc.).

=> Assez bonne série (grâce à Zhang Wan Yi) sur un plot un peu usé, mais qui aurait pu bénéficier d'une meilleure écriture.
