PLOT: a young heir (the ML), unhappy, with trauma, decides to leave everything to become a hermit on the mountain. The FL, head of a start-up and streamer, joins him at the request of ML's father, to convince him to come back to town (and to his family company).
Then, Love triangles, enemies-to-friends-to-lovers, healing romance, rural life

PROS:
+ a great CL with Chen Jing Ke as ML (very handsome with short hair) and Tang Min as FL, who show a really great chemistry (and lots of kisses and skinship, like couples who are truly in love do :). I would love to see them together on screen again (^_^)
+ An excellent cast, with very endearing 2ary characters. Life in the village, with solidarity, rumours, the proximity of everyone,... is well highlighted.
+ No “super CEO” or Mary Sue, the characters are human, with their happiness, their sorrows, their difficulties. Psychologically, the storyline is solid and realistic.
+ the production is dynamic, without length. Everything is said in 24 episodes, just the perfect length.
+ the OSTs are nice, not memorable but well suited.

CONS:
None.

=> I don't understand the relatively low rating for this series, because I devoured it in 2 days. I put this drama on the list of series to watch again, without any hesitation.

Un Masterpiece à ne pas rater !!

PLOT : un jeune héritier (le ML), malheureux avec trauma, décide de tout quitter pour devenir ermite sur la montagne. La FL, à la tête d'une start-up et streameuse, le rejoint à la demande du père du ML, pour le convaincre de revenir en ville (et à l'entreprise).
Love triangles, friendship -> healing romance, rural life

PROS:
+ un super CL avec Chen Jing Ke en ML (très beau avec les cheveux courts) et Tang Min en FL, qui montrent une formidable alchimie (et beaucoup de kisses et de skinship, comme le font les couples réellement amoureux :). J'aimerai beaucoup les voir à nouveau ensemble à l'écran (^_^)
+ Un excellent casting, avec des personnages 2aires très attachants. La vie au village, avec la solidarité, le bouche à oreille, la proximité de tous,... est bien mise en valeur.
+ Pas de "super CEO" ou de Mary Sue, les personnages sont humains, avec leurs bonheurs, leurs peines, leurs difficultés. Psychologiquement, la storyline est solide et réaliste.
+ la réalisation est dynamique, sans longueur. Tout est dit dans les 24 épisodes, juste la durée parfaite.
+ les OST sont sympas, pas mémorables mais bien adaptées.

CONS:
Aucun.

=> Je ne comprends pas la note relativement faible de cette série, car je l'ai dévorée en 2 jours. Je mets ce drama sur la liste des séries à revoir, sans aucune hésitation.

Addictive historical series thanks to its CL and the narration without length

Plot: the heiress of the Di family (the FL = Dilraba) saw her entire clan die (family, soldiers) following a conspiracy. She was only saved (but exiled) because she was engaged to the Crown Prince (the ML = Gong Jun). 10 years later, the prince is still pining. She has become Anle, the pirate at the head of 30,000 men, and returns to the capital to avenge her clan.

PROS:
+ great cast
+ fast pace
+ OSTs fitting with the scenes
+ Dilraba, great as always, with her natural and mischievous side + Gong Jun excellent with his micro-expressions
+ Credible and well-written storyline, with an interesting and logical development of the characters.

CONS:
- CGI of very average quality and somewhat poor scenery (exteriors, cave, cardboard decorations and green backgrounds too obvious) => low budget?
- elderly dowager empress (60 years old), with gray hair, but not a wrinkle and had baby skin. Seriously ?
- no kiss (except 1 on the forehead). I know that the time was rather modest, but for lovers who stake their lives at every moment, it lacks passion!

=> It was a pleasure to watch it and i'll probably rewatch it sometimes !

Plot : l'héritière de la famille Di (la FL = Dilraba) a vu tout son clan mourir (famille, soldats) à la suite d'une conspiration. Elle est devenue Anle, la pirate à la tête de 30000 hommes, et revient dans la capitale, venger son clan.
PROS:
+ super cast
+ rythme rapide
+ OST qui collent à l'action
+ Dilraba, géniale comme toujours avec son côté naturel et malicieux + Gong Jun excellent avec ses micro-expressions
+ Storyline crédible et bien écrite, avec une évolution intéressante et logique des personnages.

CONS:
- CGI de qualité très moyenne et décors un peu pauvres (extérieurs, grotte, décors de carton-pâte et fonds vert trop évidents) => low budget ?
- impératrice douairière âgée (60 ans), avec cheveux gris, mais pas une ride et une peau de bébé.
- aucun kiss (sauf 1 sur le front). Je sais que l'époque était plutôt pudique, mais pour des lovers qui jouent leur vie à chaque instant, ça manque de passion !

=> Série addictive grâce à son CL et la narration sans longueur.

A sweet romance with an extraordinary trio of main leads

PLOT:
Complicated relationship between 1 FL working in cardiac research and 1 ML "great investor". They were in love 5 years earlier, break up on a misunderstanding, and meet again in the professional setting.
He has always a heart malformation , and she has a 4-year-old son (with the same genetic disease).

ACTING:
Congratulations to the trio of main actors:
- the chemistry within the CL is excellent, natural. OTPs keep the viewer glued to the screen. The relationship is mature (multiple kisses & skinship).
- the son is, and will be an extraordinary actor.

The other actors are also very good, even the "villains" are absolutely detestable.

STORY:
It is well written, with finesse and subtlety, addresses issues such as single parent working women, (sexual) harassment at work, bereavement, the anxiety of parents of sick children, etc.
BUT
some parts are useless (to make the sauce longer :) such as breaking up in the name of lack of trust, others absurd ("I help the man I love to conquer another woman" then "when he confess himself, I play hard-to-get).

PRODUCTION :
Well done in the first part, but the misunderstandings-breaks-up last too long, and I skipped a few episodes (18-19-20-21) because of the lengths. The pace becomes better when the main leads are officially together (ep. 22-23). The end is nice, but I would have liked to see the announcement of the pregnancy, to the husband, to the big brother. I remained a little on my hunger.
The OSTs are very good, many with an english parts. However, I don't understand why they always play the same song on every CL's kiss scene. More variety, please.

To conclude, it's a good series, not "headache", relatively realistic, not memorable, but which demonstrates the talent of the 3 main actors (whom I would like to see again very soon in other dramas).

Relation compliquée entre 1 FL dans la recherche cardiaque et 1 ML "gros investisseur". Ils étaient amoureux 5 ans + tôt, se sont quittés sur un malentendu, et se retrouvent dans le cadre professionnel.
Il a une malformation cardiaque, elle un fils de 4 ans...
ACTING :
Bravo au trio d'acteurs principaux :
- l'alchimie au sein du CL est excellente, naturelle. Les OTP tiennent le spectateur collé à l'écran. La relation est mature (multiples kisses & skinship).
- le fils est et sera un acteur extraordinaire.

Les autres acteurs sont aussi très bons, même les "villains" sont détestables à souhait.

STORY :
Elle est bien écrite, avec finesse et subtilité, aborde des problèmes tels que les femmes actives monoparentales, le harcèlement (sexuel) au travail, le deuil, l'angoisse des parents d'enfants malades,etc.
MAIS
certaines parties sont inutiles (pour rallonger la sauce :) telles que la rupture au nom du manque de confiance, d'autres absurdes ("j'aide l'homme que j'aime à conquérir une autre" puis "quand il se déclare, je joue les hard-to-get).

REALISATION :
Bien menée dans la première partie, mais les malentendus-ruptures durent trop trop longtemps, et j'ai fait du zapping sur qq épisodes (18-19-20-21) à cause des longueurs. L'ensemble devient meilleur à partir du moment où le CL est officiellement ensemble (ép. 22-23). La fin est sympa, mais j'aurai aimé voir l'annonce de la grossesse, au mari, au grand frère. Je suis un peu restée sur ma faim.
Les OST sont très bien, beaucoup avec une partie anglaise. Cependant, je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils passent toujours la même chanson sur chaque scène de baiser du CL. Un peu de variété, SVP.

Pour conclure, c'est une bonne série, pas "prise de tête", relativement réaliste, pas mémorable, mais qui démontre bien le talent des 3 acteurs principaux (que j'aimerai revoir très vite dans d'autres dramas).

Xianxia series funny, intriguing, very cute.

Plot: twin princesses (1 dedicated to immortals, the other to demons) are exchanged at their weddings.
Comical scenes about the adaptation in the 2 kingdoms. Big chaos and the immortal ML sacrifices himself to save the world. FL goes on a quest to revive him. But it would be too simple if everything went well!

Great actors (especially Chen Xing Xu who plays 4 characters), 2 sweet and emotional romances, well writed story, directing without downtime or lenght, great CGI, great OST!!

Don't miss this drama !

A gem, don' t miss it !!

I'm not a big fan of nationalist or 1920s-1930s dramas. Also I only started watching for Ou Lao and Seven (2 actors I like in all of their works).

And I haven't regretted it!

I never do great analysis or very detailed commentary, so I'll keep it simple.
It is a fresco of thrilling adventure, well conducted, coherent, with a formidable cast.

1/ the cast:
I have already mentioned the 2 leads who bring this adventure to life with their usual talent. I just regret that their romance is so occasional on the screen. Their chemistry is obvious and OTPs are far too rare.
The secondary characters are well developed, with their objectives, their complexity, their paradoxes.

2/ The story:
I don't know enough about the history of China to judge the authenticity of the context, but the whole seems realistic.
Of course, the viewer is entitled to the refrain "everything for the people, priority to the nation, duty above all" but there is no escaping it in Chinese dramas and it is consistent with the context.
The narration is fast, the clues are given finely during the storyline. In short, the screenwriter and the director did an excellent job.
The action scenes are plentiful and extremely well done.

3/ OSTs:
There too, carefully chosen and adapted to the context, despite a few bugs (waltz tune when the dancers are visibly dancing to another rhythm, for example). I appreciated the opening and ending credits, lyrical, adapted to this great fresco of adventure.

I will definitely rewatch this drama (which is quite rare, for me) because I was glued to my screen for 3 days/nights, which gives the measure of its quality.

So, if you have a few days avalaible (because you're going to be hooked), don't miss this jewel, which won't disappoint you!

Excellent drama qui retrace le parcours d d'une classe d'université dans une section technologique, ce qui est rarement évoqué. Il traite aussi des discriminations fille-garçon dans les filières masculines. Les acteurs sont géniaux et donnent vie à cette histoire assez bien ficelée.

Plusieurs romances dans ce drama :
- le CL (fils riche et très smart + fille dégourdie avec traumas d'un chauffeur de taxi) est très mignon. Les malentendus ne durent pas trop longtemps malgré les 2 "great villains" (la belle-mère et la meilleure amie jalouse).
- Plusieurs romances secondaires attachantes, particulièrement le caïd et la fille-garçon manqué.

Il y a quelques longueurs par moments, mais aussi de l'humour, du rythme, des émotions,...

Les valeurs mises en avant sont toujours les mêmes dans les dramas chinois : persévérance, dur labeur, famille, sens filial, respect des aînés, volonté de réussir à tous prix, etc.

Bref, regardez-le, vous passerez un très agréable moment.

Excellent isekai Satire, unexpected, humorous, and a truly great CL

PLOT: The ML, a star "diva" actor, and the FL, an unambitious actress, read the absurd script of the drama they're supposed to film (where the ML, initially a lover-husband, cheats on the FL, and ends up killing her). But the FL find herself immersed in the script. The FL, daughter of the Minister of War, was engaged to the ML2, and tries everything to correct the storyline, despite the rules imposed by the screenwriter.

+++ An excellent CL with Liu Yu Ning (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) always amazing (sings the opening song) & Li Yi Tong (even if her character's blind stubbornness is annoying during the drama's first half).
+++ A bunch of excellent and famous actors
+++ High-level production with a lot of budget: sets, costumes, CGI, fight scenes, ... Everything is perfect! The costumes are amazing, the designer did a great job!!
+++ Really great OSTs and sound effects
+++ Unpredictable storyline, with suspense maintained until the very end.

Mais ils se retrouvent ts les 2 plongés dans le script. PLOT: FL, a florist, decides after 8 years to give up on her secret crush, ML, a former high school and college classmate. However, they meet again, he accepts a blind date, and they get married.

+++ The actors are convincing, and I really like ML.

Pure entertainment, worth seeing for the talent of the actors, between 2 serious dramas

A romantic TT comedy about a wacky family of chefs.

PLOT: A family of chefs wants to shoot a promotional video for an "old-fashioned" meal in their ancestral palace (now historical). The whole family finds themselves 1,000 years earlier, in their ancestor's era. To return to their own era, they try to get closer to their ancestor (ML).

+++ An adorable and endearing CL with Li Yun Rui & Wang Ying Lu
+++ The tone is lighthearted, even brainless (the brother's character, particulary, is only there for the comical aspect).
+++ The story is -very relatively- coherent in this context. The costumes, hairstyles, and makeup are magnificent.
+++ Enjoyable OST

### Some aspects are absurd (dishwashers??), anachronistic.
### Lots (too many) food images (even if they are beautiful).

=> Pure entertainment, worth seeing for the talent of the actors, between two serious dramas.

PLOT: Une famille de cuisiniers veut tourner une vidéo promotionnelle d'un repas "à l'ancienne" ds le palais ancestral (désormais historique). Tte la famille se retrouve 1000 ans + tôt, à l'époque de leur ancêtre. Pr revenir à leur époque, ils essaient de se rapprocher de l'ancêtre (ML).

+++ Un CL adorable et attachant avec Li Yun Rui & Wang Ying Lu
+++ Le ton est léger voire brainless (le personnage du frère en particulier, n'est là que pour l'aspect comique)
+++ La story est -très relativement- cohérente dans ce contexte. Les costumes, coiffures, maquillages sont magnifiques.

I'm not a fan of miniseries because they have many flaws (superficial tone, lack of character development, abrupt editing, low (or very low) budget, etc.). But I really liked this one.

It's an Isekai miniseries (24 x 10 min.) Funny and lively

PLOT: The FL, cheffe in modern time, has a traffic accident and is sent (in a coma) to a historical universe as the wife of a ferocious general (whom her two more favored sisters refuse to marry). To return to her world, she must discover her "true love."

+++ I really like the CL (Smile Wei & Cui Yu Xin) and I would like to see this couple again in more developed series.
+++ The tone is very humorous.
+++ All the clichés, but the direction is skillful.

### Drama with a low budget, but this one is well used.

=> Very entertaining nice series

The FL, heiress, and the ML (a boxing champion framed in a fixed match) were drugged to spend the night together & ruin their reputation. 6 years later, the FL returns with twins and signs a marriage contract with the ML (she desire to be pregnant again to save her leukemic son). They will fall in love again, and untie the knots of the past, despite the shenanigans of love rivals.

+++ The actors (including Dai Gao Zheng who are excellent) do what theit everthing to make this story believable. An electric alchemy in the CL, very sensual with hot kisses in each episode.

### Incoherent story, full of clichés/plotholes/nonsense => Flaws of short formats where everything is rushed!

A mysterious (and sometimes confusing) trip

Fantasy series (double space-time) with Fan Zhi Xin

PLOT: the ML, heir to 1 group, threatened by his uncle since the death of his father, finds the FL who had saved him as a teenager from suicide 10 years earlier. In 2024, he hires her as an assistant to keep her close to him. She has the "quantum telephone" invented by the ML's father, and receives calls from 2025!ML who wants to do everything to prevent the planned FL's death.

+++ Fan Zhi Xin is fantastic, brilliant and moving, in these kind of mysterious & romantic plots.
+++ the format is short (16 x 30") and allows no downtime.
+++ Very good OSTs, beautiful cinematography.

### We have difficulty finding our way in the storyline: between the flashbacks, the 2 timelines, the memories which are updated according to the changes, etc. It's quite confusing!

Série fantastique (double espace temps) avec Fan Zhi Xin

PLOT: le ML, héritier d'1 gpe, menacé par son oncle depuis la mort de son père, retrouve la FL qui l'avait sauvé ado du suicide 10 ans + tôt. En 2024, il l'engage comme assistante pr la garder près de lui. Elle dispose du "téléphone quantique" inventé par le père du ML, et reçoit les appels du ML 2025 qui veut tout faire pr éviter la mort programmée de la FL.

+++ Fan Zhi Xin est fantastique, génial et émouvant, dans ces plots mystérieux & romantiques.
+++ le format est court (16 X 30") et ne permet aucun temps mort.
+++ Très bons OST, belle cinématographie.

### On a du mal à s'y retrouver dans la storyline : entre les flashbacks, les 2 timelines, les souvenirs qui s'actualisent selon les changements, etc. C'est assez confus !
