PLOT: The FL (girl who felt neglected by her mother - foster mother for childrens with issues), a hard-working and calculating woman, is held back at work because she's single. She ends up looking for a (fake) husband and chooses the part-time employee of the convenience store ("angel" ML) on the corner of her street. He disappears from her life a few days after the wedding, but reappears three months later at the company where she works. At this time, a close friend (FL2), author of erotic novels for women, has a run-in with the CEO of the company (ML2).

+++ Great cast with Shin Min-Ha (FL) & Kim Young Dae (ML) and Lee Sang Yi (ML2) => Remarkable !
+++ Well-written story, relatively realistic, with complex, well-developed, and endearing characters. Three FLs with very different personalities, which allow us to approach romantic relationships from different perspectives.
+++ Fast-paced production, with very successful effects and cinematography. The tone is generally comedic, even if some heavier themes are addressed.
+++ Excellent OSTs.

### A few clichés, obviously intentional because they're meant to mock.

Elle finit par chercher 1 (fake) mari et choisit l'employé à temps partiel de la supérette ( "angel" ML) au coin de sa rue. Il disparait de sa vie qq jours après le mariage, mais réapparaît 3 mois + tard ds la Cie où elle travaille. //t, une amie (FL2) auteure de romans érotiques pr femme, a des démêlés avec le CEO de la Cie (ML2).

+++ Super cast avec Shin Min-Ha (FL) & Kim Young Dae (ML) Lee Sang Yi (ML2)
+++ Story bien écrite, relativement réaliste, avec des personnages complexes, bien développés et attachants. 3 FL au caractère bien différent, qui permettent d'aborder les relations amoureuses sous divers angles.
+++ Réalis° rythmée, avec des effets et une cinématographie très réussis. Le ton est globalement à la comédie, mm si qq thèmes plus pesants sont abordés.
+++ Excellents OSTs.

### Qq clichés, visiblement volontaires car tournés en dérision.

Rom-Sport Series (Snowboarding) with Lin Yi & Esther Yu

PLOT: The spoiled rich girl, FL, is a manga artist despite her parents' opposition. She meets ML, a retired snowboarder due to an injury, at the resort where she gathers information for a new weltoon on winter sports. She quickly becomes part of the "gang" that "follows the snow," and ML-FL become a couple. The parents' opposition separates them, and each of them pursues their own dreams...

+++ Lin Yi, who is talented enough to give depth to any character.
+++ Endearing characters: the team, family, and friendship are well-developed. The theme of dideable person like the amputee sister is well-handled.
+++ A relatively realistic story and beautiful cinematography (landscapes, sports scenes, etc.)
+++ Very enjoyable OSTs.

### Esther Yu, who plays (as usual) a childish, cheerful, warmhearted, but spoiled female protagonist, with "aegyo" facial expressions and voice, is unbearable. This actress needs to grow-up and play more mature characters !
### The pace slows down in the last third, with many long and pointless scenes.
### The tone wanted to be lighthearted, but overall, it lacks depth.
### A drama that seems low-budget, with only few filming locations, overly obvious green screens, etc.

=> Enjoyable series (especially for Lin Yi's performance) but one that won't go down in history.

Série Rom-Sport (snowboard) avec Lin Yi & Esther Yu

PLOT: La FL, Fille riche gâtée, est mangaka malgré l'opposition de ses parents. Elle rencontre le ML, snowboarder retiré à la suite d'1 blessure, ds la station où elle va collecter des infos pr une nvelle série s/ les sports d'hiver. Elle est rapidement intégrée à "la bande" qui "suit la neige" et ML-FL se mettent en couple. L'opposition des parents les sépare & chacun poursuit ses rêves de son côté ...

+++ Lin Yi qui est capable de donner de la profondeur à n'importe quel personnage.
+++ Personnages attachants : la team, la famille et friendship bien mise en valeur. Sœur amputée, pr 1 fois, bien traitée.
+++ Story à peu près réaliste, et belle cinématographie (paysages, sport, etc.)
+++ OSTs très agréables.

### Esther Yu qui interprète (as usual) une FL puérile, enjouée, chaleureuse, mais gâtée, et avec des mimiques et une voix "aegyo" insupportables.
### le rythme se ralentie ds le dernier tiers, avec bcp de scènes longues et inutiles.
### le ton se veut léger, mais l'ensemble manque de profondeur.
### Drama qui semble low-budget, avec peu de sites de tournage, des fonds verts trop évidents, etc.

=> Série agréable (surtt pr la performance de Lin Yi) mais qui ne restera pas dans les annales.

PLOT: FL, a 30-year-old, asks a young handsome colleague, 26-year-old , to be her fake boyfriend during a friend's wedding. It ends in a nice office romance. Lots of obstacles to this relationship: ML with father who divorced and remarried several times, age gap, authoritarian ML's mother return, FL full of doubts, ...

+++ Excellent actors and good direction
+++ Mature FL who embodies well the concerns and mindset of someone in their 30s.

### Some characters (ML's friend, work team, etc.) are very excessive.

A great Xianxia : one of the best series of 2025

PLOT: The FL child was saved by an immortal. Since then she wants to become "eternal". With the ML's help, she will collect the "emotion stones" to activate her power (and try to save the ML). But the forces of evil (Hidden Demon) want to conquer the world.

A little delight in each episode - A guilty pleasure (* '▽ `*)

PLOT: After the accidental death of a couple, the late husband's sister (FL, a rich heiress) comes to the mountain to "get" her nephew. He is with his maternal uncle, ML, who runs a coffee farm. The first interactions are tense and the FL decides to stay on the farm until her nephew accepts her.

PROS:
+ Very classic plot (but one of my favorites :) of the rich FL city girl who must adapt to the rough life of the mountains. Plus, it's very well done, convincing and quite funny.
+ The CL is very very cute... A little too much fake-kiss, but it works.
+ The characters are endearing, although some are exaggerated.
+ The production is quite dynamic, the flaws of the lakorns are present, but not too annoying.

CONS:
- the music has a bearable volume, but it is omnipresent.
- In the last episodes, the pace is slower and some behaviors are not consistent: the flip-flop decisions of the FL's father, the reckless CL who confronts the villains without weapons or preparation, etc.
- the systematic repentance of the villains (those who do not repent, die, this is a rule in lakorns' world), is here much too rapid to be credible.

=> an excellent “comedy” and romantic lakorn.

Un petit délice à chaque épisode - A guilty pleasure (* '▽ `*)

PLOT : Après le décès par accident d'un couple, la sœur de l'homme (la FL, une riche héritière) vient à la montagne pour "récupérer" son neveu. Celui-ci se trouve avec son oncle maternel, le ML, qui dirige une ferme de café. Les 1eres interactions sont tendues et la FL décide de rester à la ferme tant que son neveu ne l'accepte pas.

PROS:
+ Plot très classique (mais un de mes fav :) de la riche FL citadine qui doit s'adapter à la vie fruste de la montagne. De plus, c'est très bien fait, convaincant et assez drôle.
+ Le CL est très très cute... Un peu trop de fake-kiss, mais ça passe.
+ Les personnages sont attachants, bien que certains soient exagérés.
+ La réalisation est assez dynamique, les défauts des lakorns sont présents, mais pas trop gênants.

CONS:
- la musique a un volume supportable, mais elle est omniprésente.
- Dans les derniers épisodes, le rythme est plus lent et certains comportements ne sont pas cohérents : les volte-faces du père de la FL, le CL téméraire qui affrontent les villains sans arme ni préparation, etc.
- le repentir systématique des vilains (ceux qui ne se repentent pas, meurent, c'est la règle des lakorns), est ici bien trop rapide pour être crédible.

=> un excellent lakorn "comédie" et romantique.

A Must watch series for Dylan Wang & Bai Lu fans

Romantic series with Dylan Wang (very cold, rational, young investor CEO) & Bai Lu (economics journalist). These 2 attract each other, turn around and play cat and mouse until episode 20.
2 other 2dary couples: CL2 = CEO investor / video journalist (both players who do not want to give up their style life) & CL3 = college teacher/trainee.

PROS:
+ Bai Lu and Dylan Wang are a great CL, with intense interactions and chemistry. They carry the whole series on their shoulders.
+ All the cast did a good job, with complex characters, who are well developed.
+ Excellent OSTs (even Irish music :)
+ The pace is fast, dynamic, without length.
+ The framing, settings, costumes,... are well suited to the story.

CONS:
I'm not convinced by some characters:
- FL2 is totally stupid on an emotional level. She thinks she's a love expert, because she dates around, but she thinks like an imbecile. A lot of CL's problems stem from her disastrous advice... The kind of friend to avoid like the plague! In each situation, she guides the FL towards the worst possible path. Is this the deliberate will of the screenwriter/director???
- the very very immature FL3.
- the character of Cheng Kang is not even credible: he is indecisive, hesitant, without self-confidence. How could such a character create his own business?

=> A lovely romantic series with a CL that I would like to see again together on screen soon.

- La FL2 est totalement idiote au niveau émotionnel. Elle se croit une experte en amour, parce qu'elle papillonne, mais elle raisonne comme une imbécile. Une bonne partie des problèmes du CL découle de ses conseils désastreux... Le genre d'amie à fuir comme la peste ! A chaque situation, elle guide vers la pire voie possible. Est-ce la volonté délibérée du screenwriter/réalisateur ???
- la FL3 très très immature.
- le personnage de Cheng Kang n'est pas crédible : il est indécis, hésitant, sans confiance en lui. Comment un tel personnage a-t-il pu créer son entreprise ?

=> Une jolie série romantique avec un CL que j'aimerai revoir together on screen soon.

Nice series, within the voice acting industry

PLOT: FL, a young, poor voice actress who wants to continue her training in Japan, agrees to participate in a reality TV show for couples. She is therefore a fake couple with the ML, a renowned violin maker, composer, rich and not very communicative. To escape repeated scandals (due to an evil rival) she moves in with him.

PROS:
+ a great main couple with Zhao Lusi and Riley Wang, both excellent, with a great chemistry.
+ an interesting context, well highlighted
+ the 2dary characters are well developed and endearing
+ the cat is so cute (Bei Duofen :)
+ the OSTs are well suited, pleasant
+ the production is dynamic
+ the story is coherent, even if at times, there are lengths.

CONS:
- quite a few clichés: the ML who excels in everything he does; the bitch girl, rich, with a large network of influence, always super well informed; the separation of the CL "to pursue their dreams", but the final reunion.
- I know FL is supposed to be 22, but at times she acts really immature.

=> Nice drama, romantic, especially thanks to the 2 main leads.

PLOT: La FL, jeune doubleuse, pauvre, qui veut poursuivre sa formation au Japon, accepte de participer à une émission de téléréalité pour couples. Elle est donc un faux couple avec le ML, luthier réputé, compositeur, riche et peu communicatif. Pour échapper à des scandales répétés (evil rivale) elle emménage chez lui.

PROS:
+ un great main couple avec Zhao Lusi et Riley Wang, tous les 2 excellents, avec une belle alchimie.
+ un contexte intéressant, bien mis en valeur
+ les personnages 2aires sont bien développés et attachants
+ le chat est trop cute
+ les OST sont bien adaptés, agréables
+ la réalisation est dynamique
+ la story est cohérente, même si par moments, il y a des longueurs.

CONS:
- pas mal de clichés : le ML qui excelle dans tout ce qu'il fait ; la peste, riche, avec un gros réseau d'influence, toujours super bien informée ; la séparation du CL "pour poursuivre ses rêves", mais les retrouvailles finales.
- Je sais que la FL est censée avoir 22 ans, mais par moments, elle a un comportement vraiment immature.

=> Joli drama, romantique, surtout grâce aux 2 main leads.

Addictive historical series thanks to its CL and the narration without length

Plot: the heiress of the Di family (the FL = Dilraba) saw her entire clan die (family, soldiers) following a conspiracy. She was only saved (but exiled) because she was engaged to the Crown Prince (the ML = Gong Jun). 10 years later, the prince is still pining. She has become Anle, the pirate at the head of 30,000 men, and returns to the capital to avenge her clan.

PROS:
+ great cast
+ fast pace
+ OSTs fitting with the scenes
+ Dilraba, great as always, with her natural and mischievous side + Gong Jun excellent with his micro-expressions
+ Credible and well-written storyline, with an interesting and logical development of the characters.

CONS:
- CGI of very average quality and somewhat poor scenery (exteriors, cave, cardboard decorations and green backgrounds too obvious) => low budget?
- elderly dowager empress (60 years old), with gray hair, but not a wrinkle and had baby skin. Seriously ?
- no kiss (except 1 on the forehead). I know that the time was rather modest, but for lovers who stake their lives at every moment, it lacks passion!

=> It was a pleasure to watch it and i'll probably rewatch it sometimes !

Elle est devenue Anle, la pirate à la tête de 30000 hommes, et revient dans la capitale, venger son clan.
PROS:
+ super cast
+ rythme rapide
+ OST qui collent à l'action
+ Dilraba, géniale comme toujours avec son côté naturel et malicieux + Gong Jun excellent avec ses micro-expressions
+ Storyline crédible et bien écrite, avec une évolution intéressante et logique des personnages.

CONS:
- CGI de qualité très moyenne et décors un peu pauvres (extérieurs, grotte, décors de carton-pâte et fonds vert trop évidents) => low budget ?
- impératrice douairière âgée (60 ans), avec cheveux gris, mais pas une ride et une peau de bébé.
- aucun kiss (sauf 1 sur le front). Je sais que l'époque était plutôt pudique, mais pour des lovers qui jouent leur vie à chaque instant, ça manque de passion !

=> Série addictive grâce à son CL et la narration sans longueur.

A sweet romance with an extraordinary trio of main leads

PLOT:
Complicated relationship between 1 FL working in cardiac research and 1 ML "great investor". They were in love 5 years earlier, break up on a misunderstanding, and meet again in the professional setting.
He has always a heart malformation , and she has a 4-year-old son (with the same genetic disease).

ACTING:
Congratulations to the trio of main actors:
- the chemistry within the CL is excellent, natural. OTPs keep the viewer glued to the screen. The relationship is mature (multiple kisses & skinship).
- the son is, and will be an extraordinary actor.

The other actors are also very good, even the "villains" are absolutely detestable.

STORY:
It is well written, with finesse and subtlety, addresses issues such as single parent working women, (sexual) harassment at work, bereavement, the anxiety of parents of sick children, etc.
BUT
some parts are useless (to make the sauce longer :) such as breaking up in the name of lack of trust, others absurd ("I help the man I love to conquer another woman" then "when he confess himself, I play hard-to-get).

PRODUCTION :
Well done in the first part, but the misunderstandings-breaks-up last too long, and I skipped a few episodes (18-19-20-21) because of the lengths. The pace becomes better when the main leads are officially together (ep. 22-23). The end is nice, but I would have liked to see the announcement of the pregnancy, to the husband, to the big brother. I remained a little on my hunger.
The OSTs are very good, many with an english parts. However, I don't understand why they always play the same song on every CL's kiss scene. More variety, please.

To conclude, it's a good series, not "headache", relatively realistic, not memorable, but which demonstrates the talent of the 3 main actors (whom I would like to see again very soon in other dramas).

Relation compliquée entre 1 FL dans la recherche cardiaque et 1 ML "gros investisseur". Ils étaient amoureux 5 ans + tôt, se sont quittés sur un malentendu, et se retrouvent dans le cadre professionnel.
Il a une malformation cardiaque, elle un fils de 4 ans...
ACTING :
Bravo au trio d'acteurs principaux :
- l'alchimie au sein du CL est excellente, naturelle. Les OTP tiennent le spectateur collé à l'écran. La relation est mature (multiples kisses & skinship).
- le fils est et sera un acteur extraordinaire.

Les autres acteurs sont aussi très bons, même les "villains" sont détestables à souhait.

STORY :
Elle est bien écrite, avec finesse et subtilité, aborde des problèmes tels que les femmes actives monoparentales, le harcèlement (sexuel) au travail, le deuil, l'angoisse des parents d'enfants malades,etc.
MAIS
certaines parties sont inutiles (pour rallonger la sauce :) telles que la rupture au nom du manque de confiance, d'autres absurdes ("j'aide l'homme que j'aime à conquérir une autre" puis "quand il se déclare, je joue les hard-to-get).

REALISATION :
Bien menée dans la première partie, mais les malentendus-ruptures durent trop trop longtemps, et j'ai fait du zapping sur qq épisodes (18-19-20-21) à cause des longueurs. L'ensemble devient meilleur à partir du moment où le CL est officiellement ensemble (ép. 22-23). La fin est sympa, mais j'aurai aimé voir l'annonce de la grossesse, au mari, au grand frère. Je suis un peu restée sur ma faim.
Les OST sont très bien, beaucoup avec une partie anglaise. Cependant, je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils passent toujours la même chanson sur chaque scène de baiser du CL. Un peu de variété, SVP.

Pour conclure, c'est une bonne série, pas "prise de tête", relativement réaliste, pas mémorable, mais qui démontre bien le talent des 3 acteurs principaux (que j'aimerai revoir très vite dans d'autres dramas).

Xianxia series funny, intriguing, very cute.

Plot: twin princesses (1 dedicated to immortals, the other to demons) are exchanged at their weddings.
Comical scenes about the adaptation in the 2 kingdoms. Big chaos and the immortal ML sacrifices himself to save the world. FL goes on a quest to revive him. But it would be too simple if everything went well!

Great actors (especially Chen Xing Xu who plays 4 characters), 2 sweet and emotional romances, well writed story, directing without downtime or lenght, great CGI, great OST!!

Don't miss this drama !

Plot : princesses jumelles (1 vouée aux immortels, l'autre aux démons) sont échangées lors de leurs noces. Scènes comiques sur l'adaptation aux 2 royaumes. Gros fight et le ML immortel se sacrifie pour sauver le monde. Quête de la FL pour le faire revivre. Mais ce serait trop simple si tout se passait bien !

A gem, don' t miss it !!

I'm not a big fan of nationalist or 1920s-1930s dramas. Also I only started watching for Ou Lao and Seven (2 actors I like in all of their works).

And I haven't regretted it!

I never do great analysis or very detailed commentary, so I'll keep it simple.
It is a fresco of thrilling adventure, well conducted, coherent, with a formidable cast.

1/ the cast:
I have already mentioned the 2 leads who bring this adventure to life with their usual talent. I just regret that their romance is so occasional on the screen. Their chemistry is obvious and OTPs are far too rare.
The secondary characters are well developed, with their objectives, their complexity, their paradoxes.

2/ The story:
I don't know enough about the history of China to judge the authenticity of the context, but the whole seems realistic.
Of course, the viewer is entitled to the refrain "everything for the people, priority to the nation, duty above all" but there is no escaping it in Chinese dramas and it is consistent with the context.
The narration is fast, the clues are given finely during the storyline. In short, the screenwriter and the director did an excellent job.
The action scenes are plentiful and extremely well done.

3/ OSTs:
There too, carefully chosen and adapted to the context, despite a few bugs (waltz tune when the dancers are visibly dancing to another rhythm, for example). I appreciated the opening and ending credits, lyrical, adapted to this great fresco of adventure.

I will definitely rewatch this drama (which is quite rare, for me) because I was glued to my screen for 3 days/nights, which gives the measure of its quality.

So, if you have a few days avalaible (because you're going to be hooked), don't miss this jewel, which won't disappoint you!

Excellent drama qui retrace le parcours d d'une classe d'université dans une section technologique, ce qui est rarement évoqué. Il traite aussi des discriminations fille-garçon dans les filières masculines. Les acteurs sont géniaux et donnent vie à cette histoire assez bien ficelée.

Plusieurs romances dans ce drama :
- le CL (fils riche et très smart + fille dégourdie avec traumas d'un chauffeur de taxi) est très mignon. Les malentendus ne durent pas trop longtemps malgré les 2 "great villains" (la belle-mère et la meilleure amie jalouse).
- Plusieurs romances secondaires attachantes, particulièrement le caïd et la fille-garçon manqué.

Il y a quelques longueurs par moments, mais aussi de l'humour, du rythme, des émotions,...

Les valeurs mises en avant sont toujours les mêmes dans les dramas chinois : persévérance, dur labeur, famille, sens filial, respect des aînés, volonté de réussir à tous prix, etc.

Bref, regardez-le, vous passerez un très agréable moment.

A magnificent audiovisual production on a very "weird" storyline

Mystery-Thriller-Fantasy ❤ with Dilraba & Chen Xing Xu

PLOT: The FL, a sculptor, was trained from childhood to be the Mad Blade in the Nanshan Hunters team (a team that has protected humanity from the Fiends—demons of Earth—for generations). She encounters the ML, Roadsound group's heir, led by Lin Xi Rou (a Fiend who took human form and killed the ML's parents). This pharmaceutical group serves as a cover for Lin Xi Rou to "humanize" other Fiends. ### The Team is a bunch of misfits who eat and chat, but don't train, don't know how to be prepared... lots of "archaic" rituals and traditions, but nothing else. Brave, but mostly useless.

### The storyline becomes INCOHERENT in the Golden Gate narrative arc: this generation has never been there, but they seem to know the route. They don't even have a way to communicate with those in the mine who are improvising by blowing everything up!! But the Gate Team is even worse (improvising, with Xing Shen summoning demons, etc.). Utter nonsense !!

Finally, we'll never know how YT and NJL managed to escape the final "matrix".

=> A magnificent audiovisual production on a very "weird" storyline. The novelist is creative, but it must be a daily nightmare in her head :(

Myst-Thriller-Fant ❤ avec Dilraba & Chen Xing Xu

PLOT : La FL, sculptrice, a été formée toute son enfance à être la Lame Folle dans la team des chasseurs de Nanshan (team qui protège l'humanité des Fiends - démons de la Terre, depuis des générations). Elle croise le ML, héritier du gpe Roadsound , dirigé par Lin Xi Rou (fiend ayant pris apparence humaine, a tué les parents du ML). Ce gpe pharmaceutique sert de couverture à Lin Xi Rou pr "humaniser" les autres fiends. Le ML (qui veut venger ses parents et retrouver sa soeur disparue) va aider la FL, gagner sa confiance et rejoindre la Team ds sa lutte contre les fiends.

+++ Dilraba & Chen Xing Xu sont ts les 2 fantastiques, tant ds leurs interactions (réelle alchimie) que ds les scènes d'action. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
+++ OSTs d'enfer, flippantes à souhait, très adaptées à l'atmosphère.
+++ Un paquet d'excellents acteurs, talentueux, convaincants, flippants pr certains.

### La Team est une équipe de bras cassés, qui mange, discute, mais ne s'entraine pas, ne sait pas se préparer, ... bcp de rituels "archaiques" et de traditions, mais rien d'autre. Courageux, mais inutiles pr la plupart.

### La storyline devient INCOHERENTE ds l'arc narratif de la Porte Dorée : cette génération n'y est jamais allée, mais ils ont l'air de savoir l’itinéraire. Ils n'ont mm pas de moyen de communicat° avec ceux de la mine qui improvisent en faisant tout exploser !! Mais la Team de la Porte est encore pire (ds l'impro, avec Xing Shen qui appelle les démons, etc.). Du grand n'importe quoi ٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬) ٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬) Sans compter la descente dans le gouffre en plongée sans aucun respect des règles (remontée par paliers, communicat°, etc.) ٩(╬ʘ益ʘ╬) Pour finir, on ignorera tjs comment YT et NJL ont réussi à sortir de la "matrice" finale.

=> Une magnifique réalis° audio-visuelle sur une storyline très "perchée". La romancière est créative, mais ç doit être le cauchemar dans sa tête au quotidien :(
