PLOT: The ML, a star "diva" actor, and the FL, an unambitious actress, read the absurd script of the drama they're supposed to film (where the ML, initially a lover-husband, cheats on the FL, and ends up killing her). But the FL find herself immersed in the script. The FL, daughter of the Minister of War, was engaged to the ML2, and tries everything to correct the storyline, despite the rules imposed by the screenwriter.

PLOT: Cher/Laem (a playful student, gamer, and streamer) begins an internship at Boss Gun's company (a taciturn, demanding man with a history of homophobia trauma). I've rarely seen such a poorly written story :(

PLOT: Following the assassination of her husband (a wealthy businessman), a woman asks her driver to bring his son Palm (a fisherman) back to protect her own son, Nueng (a high school student and for everyday life). Palm protects Nueng as much as possible (physically and emotionally). However, an assassination attempt wounds the mother and forces Palm and Nueng to flee. When Palm's mother is also killed, the two (now) lovers decide to return to Bangkok to confront the Great Villain.

+++ I like Pond and Phuwit, particulary Pond who is charismatic, but Phuwit is a bit too poker-faced for my taste. Pond and Phuwit are very cute and handsome, but the chemistry isn't obvious. More, Phuwit doesn't seem very comfortable in intimate scenes. Pond is much more natural.
+++ I love the OSTs.
+++ No technical issues whatsoever. term of production°.

### Palm's father character holds the record for stupidity and incompetence.

Mini Historical Revenge series (26 x 15") - Sweet and Fun

PLOT: Two feuding sisters were married in the same mansion: FL (calm and wise) to the son of a concubine (lazy, opportunistic, and perverse); and FL2 (jealous, manipulative, and twisted) to the Crown Prince (why ? He is not the emperor's son). The Crown Prince divorces, and both sisters are killed. They are both reincarnated and decide to swap husbands. The Crown Prince will gradually be won over by FL, but this couple has many enemies (love rival; ML2; FL2; Prince Ning, etc.) who will eventually kill the Crown Prince and the sisters. Second reincarnation -> everyone will be more cunning.

+++ Excellent actors. I am delighted to see Qin Tian Yu in his first leading role; he truly deserves it!
+++ Effective, fast-paced direction and consistent storyline.

Le CP divorce et les 2 sœurs sont tuées. Elles se réincarnent ttes les 2 et décident d'échanger leurs maris. Le CP va être peu à peu conquis par la FL, mais ce couple a des nbreux ennemis (love rival; ML2 ; FL2 ; Prince Ning, etc.) qui finiront par tuer le CL et la soeur. 2nde réincarnat° -> tt le monde sera + rusé. HE.

+++ Excellents acteurs. Je suis ravie de voir Qin Tian Yu ds son 1e main rôle, il le mérite bien !

PLOT: The FL and her sister infiltrate the Palace to survive. The sister gains the Emperor's favor, but [due to the plots of the other consorts] ends up being sent to the Cold Palace and dies. The FL, an intelligent and cunning maid, remains in the service of successive consorts to clear her sister's name and expose her murderers.

+++ The story is fairly coherent, focusing on the Forbidden City, the rivalries between consorts, and the struggles for the Emperor's favor (wealth, power, status).
+++ Limited budget, but the sets are beautiful and some costumes are magnificent (other costumes, however, look very cheap).
+++ The actors are attractive, but their acting skills are uneven and inconsistent. The Emperor and the ML (the Emperor's uncle) lack charisma.

### It's difficult to get invested in this story because something's missing: less clumsy direction? More convincing actors? A more subtle plot? In any case, the recipe is incomplete...

=> Worth watching just to pass the time, nothing more.

Watched only for Ryan Ren, this mini-drama is a rom-revenge story during the Republican Era.

PLOT: The FL, Liang Yi, an heiress, is disfigured and "killed" on her wedding day by her husband (ML2). She is taken in by a brothel, has her face changed to become Xu Yin (desired by a rich jerk). She is rescued by the ML (gang leader) who marries her.
ML2 marries a fake Liang Yi to inherit the family fortune. Opium trafficking, power struggles (governor and military), etc.

### Who wrote the script?? An AI, probably. If it was a real person, were they smoking opium? The storyline is twisted, incoherent, and unnecessarily convoluted. There's a lot of violence (how many liters of fake blood?), deaths, attempted rapes, not to mention the face swaps, illegitimate children, etc.

### The FL, supposedly smart and educated, acts so stupid and naive it makes you want to cry/roll your eyes/tear your hair out. Nobody behaves like that in real life.

### The director very clearly designed his series SOLELY for visuals, forgetting all coherence and logic.

=> I'm like Daydreamer, wondering how I managed to watch this drivel all the way through. Out of curiosity? For Ryan Ren (why did he agree to this series? Did he owe the director a favor?).

I'm not a fan of miniseries because they have many flaws (superficial tone, lack of character development, abrupt editing, low (or very low) budget, etc.). But I really liked this one.

It's an Isekai miniseries (24 x 10 min.) Funny and lively

PLOT: The FL, cheffe in modern time, has a traffic accident and is sent (in a coma) to a historical universe as the wife of a ferocious general (whom her two more favored sisters refuse to marry). To return to her world, she must discover her "true love."

+++ I really like the CL (Smile Wei & Cui Yu Xin) and I would like to see this couple again in more developed series.
+++ The tone is very humorous.

Fantasy series (double space-time) with Fan Zhi Xin

PLOT: the ML, heir to 1 group, threatened by his uncle since the death of his father, finds the FL who had saved him as a teenager from suicide 10 years earlier. In 2024, he hires her as an assistant to keep her close to him. She has the "quantum telephone" invented by the ML's father, and receives calls from 2025!ML who wants to do everything to prevent the planned FL's death.

+++ Fan Zhi Xin is fantastic, brilliant and moving, in these kind of mysterious & romantic plots.
+++ the format is short (16 x 30") and allows no downtime.
+++ Very good OSTs, beautiful cinematography.

### We have difficulty finding our way in the storyline: between the flashbacks, the 2 timelines, the memories which are updated according to the changes, etc. It's quite confusing!

Series with a very pronounced comedy tone (let your brain at the door) about an architecture team in a historical context. The Team is made up of 1 architect (ML), 1 princess (FL, incognito), her servant, an official, 1 manager who does not know how to manage, 1 supervisor, 1 investor in love with ML. .. no one apart from the ML is really competent!!! The Team will become more and more cohesive, around various projects.

+++ Good actors, especially Huang Sheng Chi.

PLOT: FL's mother, a super embroiderer, is the victim of a conspiracy hatched by the Head of the Outfits office. Reunion, gradual attraction then love, between 1 spendthrift ML & 1 super thrifty FL, working within the same company.

Love rivals, complicated families, 2 secondary CLs.

+++ I really like the ML, Sam Lin.
+++ The production is dynamic
+++ The OSTs are well suited.

It's a comedy, OK. BUT :
### some characters are clearly caricatures (FL's father, ML2, etc.)
### FL's voice (high-pitched) particularly annoying and I also have trouble with her exaggerated facial expressions / pouts.
### FL's behavior in the last narrative arc (breakup if not reconciliation with the ML's father) is INCONSISTENT and TOXIC !! Her so-called logic ("we don't have the same values") no longer holds at this stage of the relationship, and what the FL is doing is called emotional blackmail. Lamentable ... ### Le comportement de la FL dans le dernier arc narratif (rupture si pas réconciliation avec le père) est INCOHÉRENT et ABERRANT !! Sa soi-disant logique et celle de de ses parents ("nous n'avons pas les mêmes valeurs") ne tient plus à cette étape de la relation, et ce que fait la FL s'appelle du chantage affectif. Lamentable ... Idem pour l'évitement dans le dernier épisode (☉_☉)
