Operation Moscow is based on real life incidents, I find Operation Moscow’s plot more believable and realistic.

Very similar backdrop, also about the Anti Organised crime and corruption campaign that occurred in Mainland for 3 years. Chasing the Undercurrent is based on a true story whilst The Fight isn’t….

Very similar premise.
Rare theme of banking which is well executed.
Both adapted from novels/webtoon.

- Same actor playing male leads, the ML in Nothing but Thirty is a good guy in general unlike the role in Alliance.
- very similar in the sense of how career, friends, family is always a challenge to balance for an educated smart modern day female now
- unfairness, unfortunately in times and days like these a lot of unfairness and inequality still exist because of stereotypical gender roles
- money, how important money is because it is also indirectly determines how much power a person holds

Similar themes, about Chinese family bonds/values and also the exact same time period, during the war…. Exploring the KMT, CCP, Japanese invasion, Western influence….. The unique landscape of Shanghai then vs their relationship with ChongQing etc…

Only major difference is the romance theme…. So there is close to none in The Disguiser, and the sets + cinematography is defo of a lower standard….

The TV series is closer to what happened and based on some of the people involved back then.
Unfortantely, TV series is not subbed.

Similar themes, same vibes although the ML for Art of Negotiation is more mysterious, unique… but it is very similar in all other aspects… i,e MnA, intern, corporate setting with it being ultra dramatic/glamourised, etc…

- ML is cold, unemotional, logical, a loner
- both depict an investigation of a huge scandal/corruption that last for the entire series
- Stranger is a lot better in terms of masking who the real antagonist/mastermind is, it is also better in terms of execution of the plot
