I wish they hadn't brought in the knew from childhood trope. I wanted to see him become more attached because of attraction, not because of some friend loyalty from years back. I find it's just an overused, lazy trope nowdays.
I'm disappointed, he killed her in her previous life and he betrayed her again by choosing his brother! I thought…
The two rooms are a test of overcoming their fear. Yeon chose I believe based on who he believed wouldn't handle the fear as well, which is his brother. His brother fears being alone/being cast aside, stemming from his childhood. I think Ji Ah fears her parents disappearing. Had he chosen to go after her, his brother would have died for certain, but I believe he's confident that she can overcome Ji Ah can overcome her fear and escape by herself, because ultimatley, he can't overcome their fears for them, but he can at least reiterate to his brother, that he's never truly abandoned him and that he needs to let go of that fear.
This was the best episode since about 4, I was a bit worried they were heading down a Korean Odyssey path but today's episode gave me back that excitment of watching.
Favourite moment of the episode: Finding out the kid is a reincarnation of the dog. I think it's a nice twist on the typical, a woman will redeem the villian trope. I'm very disappointed in how they're steering Ji Ah's character at the moment. I enjoyed her smart, logical approach to things and the last few episodes she's become a far more emotional, in need of rescue type, which frustrates me. I do hope they bring her back to the detective and not the dame.
So happy, such a strong start. Love that they've actually got a smart female lead, instead of some ditz. Please don't disappoint me like A Korean Odyssey
Just finished eight, and is anyone else annoyed she'd be stupid enough to tell the guy she had evidence on her phone, and not back it up? I feel like they sort of dumbed her down with that.
Really?? In the little fan-made videos on youtube, it shows a lot of romance.
YouTube tends to take the best bits and puts them together, for 18 episodes, with running times of an hour plus, there's not as much as I'd like at all.
I feel like the title really does the show justice, cause the romance is lost in this show. I feel like we've only spent a small amount of time actually watching the otps.
Okay, this is a surprise, I didn't even intend to watch this and then Youtube put it on my suggestions and I have to admit, it's got me hooked. Thoroughly enjoyable so far and love the leads chemistry.
