A gem worth every minute

Overall:
The show turned out to be so good that I had to write a review. Every minute I spend it was worth it. It's the very common enemies to lovers category but the story kept the journey of trust and romance realistic. I may sound very common but it is not very common to find something this enjoyable.

Story:
The story was kept true and real. There was no unrealistic expectations for ml or fl. The history of hate was reasonable so was the search for peace. The story hooks you up from the very first episode. Once you understand the characters you can't stop watching.
The ml was not shown as the usual love only for fl type. He loves his people family and stays true to those while loving the fl. Same goes for the fl she is not the usual oh my husband only type, she cares for the people and her family while keeping the balance between her family and her love.
The story gave us explanation for every single event, feeling and object shown throughout the story. There was no confusion in the end.
The bond between every character is explained very well. And every villian gets their required ending.
Acting:
The actors did a very good job in giving life to the characters. The bond was visible in their eyes. The pain of lose and the love was shown perfectly. Fl is indeed clever and stayed clever even after falling in love. Same goes for ml. No misunderstanding was there. It's my first show of both ml and fl so I had no judgement. The ml being a young but powerful ruler was so well depicted. His expressions were real. The fl while being young was strong and thoughtful.
Hope to see more dramas of them.
Ending:
I am satisfied with the ending even though not every side character got same ending . I do think that some deserved more but that was real because it made sense. Peace for the world was the overall aim and the ending was satisfying.
Final comment:
Definitely give it a try if you want romantic political historical drama. Definitely worth your time.
I didn't give it full re-watch value because I personally don't re-watch dramas. Still I could watch this one .
Overall a well written masterpiece. Definitely going to my top 10 list

Fate playing villian like always ?

Story:
The story starts of as a very interesting one. The development may seem a bit low at certain points but it will get better.🤗 The twists are unpredictable and shocking. An ill-fated relationship unfolding while knowing the consequences. The story takes you to a journey to find out who among the fl and ml is the one who caused the FEUD. It literally is the story of a very long feud. The reasons are convincing and the cause is explained well.

Acting:
As an unwavering fan of Bailu I can't say anything 😅. But I will say it, it was fantastic. The acting alone is enough to convince you to watch the series. Bailu is known for her ml enemy roles😂 and as always she nailed it😍. The chemistry between the leads are really nice. Our girl has a PhD in chemistry so😉. I loved the acting of the ml. He displayed every single emotion perfectly. The supporting actors were good as well. The acting side is a full score.

Ending:
Not typical. But logical and reasonable based on the situations that unfolded. May seem unsatisfactory for some viewers, but personally I don't think anything else could make a better ending. It stayed true to the flow and feud of the story.

Overall:
For me this was a satisfactory drama. I watched it just for fl nothing else. But is definitely was excellent for me. The story, cast and the journey are well put together. Definitely give it a try if you like xanxia dramas with romance.
Not the best but definitely good enough for a one-time watch.
Can re-watch it for the romance and feelings but I can't personally re-watch any so...
Don't worry and give it a try. ☺️

Something simple like the water but deep like an ocean

Story:
This was a very well written story for me. From the beginning we are hooked to the journey of our twins. It's definitely life, the twists and turns of life. Everyone of us has that moment when we wish to run away from everything and want to live as someone else. For our miji and mirae it was possible practically because they are twins. The story told us about the dark corners of a person who may seem bright from outside. It really took us on a journey of healing.
Those unsaid words of hosu's dad held that much meaning. The story told us what it means to stay by someone's side in life. Love was defined in a new perspective.
The romance was so pure and real. Not just romance the love for family, most importantly the bond of the twins. Every single mother in this story made us feel that love. Everyone loves differently but it's mom. It felt so good.
It was real no exaggerations , just life but it felt deep.

Acting:
I am already aware of the good acting of fl so I was not surprised. I came for her and it was definitely worth it. Playing two different characters while showing the difference in character is so hard but she did it very well. Mirae and miji was distinguishable even without the haircuts. I was pleasantly surprised by the acting of ml. He was so good at portraying those emotions. When his eyes starts to water, I felt myself that sorrow and pain. The actors who played both mothers, the grandmother and the shop grandmother did so good that I could feel their emotions through the screen. Both the mothers were so different in their way of loving but ultimately their love was same. The trauma was definitely shown well, it felt real. The senior lawyer guy was very different and real, he was not evil or good. He was real.

Ending:
It was satisfying. It was happy. Every character got what the deserved. It was satisfying to see people pay for their actions. Our leads carved out their own paths.
Re-watch:
Re-watching a drama is not my thing even if it's my favourite so... But I may go back to some episodes if I want that comfort again.

Final verdict:
Definitely a drama worthy of every single minute. It's just 12 episodes so definitely give it a try. It's pure , it may cure something hidden deep inside you. It may teach you to love and how to accept love. 😇

Not the conventional romance but historical

Story:
May not be the best drama out there but definitely not disappointing. The story was kept realistic and historical. The trust that was built through so many episodes seen to be more real than the usual fall in love at first sight. This is a very political story. It revolves around a high official in court and his cucubine.
Yes, she is not the wife. He already had a harem of women before she married him. This may seem unacceptable to many viewers but it is real based on the historical setting. He is a high official who is 30 years old so definitely realistic. The betrayals and schemes between the leads were very interesting to watch. This story was not about romance. The kissing scenes were non conventional too. Not the best story in historical but definitely not bad. I think it felt similar to The sword and the brocade. The understanding between the ml and fl was so good and satisfying

Acting:
Both the leads did so well in this show. The acting was spot on for me. They showed every single emotion and the change of distrust to trust perfectly. The portrayal of the supporting actors were good too. The show can get full score in acting.

Ending:
Personally for me it was not bad. It may not satisfy every viewer. The villians kinda didn't get a satisfactory punishment. The final scene was not explained well .

Final verdict:
Do give it a try...
I jumped in without any expectations while waiting for another drama to air so. It's not the best nor the worst . Definitely something that is worth the time if you are alright with multiple wives.

Typical romance in a historical setting

Overall:
The show was really a normal one for me personally. It had potential but I don't think it was able to reach that. The story was kinda simple and predictable for a regular drama addict like me. It is enjoyable to some extent if you can let go of overthinking.
Acting:
The acting was satisfying until half . When the romance started going up the acting started going down. Both ml and fl are very good looking. If you want an eye candy romance it's good. The emperor was a sweetheart.
Story:
The story is said to be a investigation. But it goes to other paths as it becomes predictable. The historical setting is not explained well. The emperor is shown as an easygoing man. But the relationship between Prince digbei and emperor still confuses me. Are they brothers or just sworn brothers. Certain elements are not explained well.

Try it if you want a romantic drama to kill time. It's not bad but don't go in expecting something very thrilling or that excellent.

Don't jumb in with too much expectations!!

Story:
The story is the continuation of the ones from s1 and s2 . It stayed that way but it lacked the thrill that we had in the previous seasons. If you are going in looking for that unexpected twist, then drop your expectations. I don't think it was bad but it was too predictable and disappointing for me personally (personal opinion only, I have heard different opinions than this). The fact that every character that was fighting for humanity went through too much. The 333 personally disappointed me too much as a human (the actor did a fantastic job making me hate that character). You have to watch it if you have already watched the first two seasons since we need an ending. And also our 'dora' does make some progress (iykyk😅)

Acting:
The only thing that I can garanty in this show is acting. The actor did a fantastic job in their characters. If the acting was boring I would have dropped it without finishing. The front man had his facial expressions on point but he was not given enough space to do things. The actors carried the show on their back. For me 222 was fantastic in terms of performance and 333 did so well that I questioned entire human existence.

Ending:
Disappointed personally. Yes the goal of the show was this ending but, for a show that was this dramatic and this twisted the ending was too simple. It is said a simple but powerful ending but for me it was too predictable. I wanted something more serious. The bad ones can't just go like that after this much effort. Why is there no explanation about the game, the origin, the real creator. I am not satisfied with the ending. I need more. If you want to give a s4 I am up for it if it can fill these gaps. What's with all that tail ending.

Overall:
Do watch it if you have already watched previous seasons. Curiosity is unbearable for us drama watchers so you can finish this one out of curiosity. But don't expect that much from this. Just a predictable continuation of previous seasons.
It's just a few episodes so it's your choice.
Final verdict:
*Could be better*

Don't jumb with too much expectations. Good one time watching

The show was overall carried by the good acting of the actors. The casting director and direction did their best but the story plot had too much holes.
Trying to justify the murders commited by ildo( I am not sure about names. The step father) was something that threw me off. Just because he felt bad doesn't mean his doing were forgiven. The mother(of fl) was shown as someone non villian, it's unfair. The characters other than the villians deserved better , but since it's a tragedy genres it's totally understandable.
The shots and filmography was interesting and that was absolutely fantastic. But the story had too much rough edges.
If you are here for PHS go for it. His performance was very good and that's the only reason why I finished the show. It has good drama and twists (not for me since I am good at predicting ) . He really delivered the character well. His face card was used very beautifully.
Handsomeness at its peak😉
