I don’t think you're seeing the big picture here. One of the reasons why she gets roles is because she doesn't shy away from small roles. Also being in a male-centric drama exposes her to a demographic who otherwise would not watch female-centric dramas like male fans. It also gives her experience to take up different roles.
Also she decides what role she wants to do so idk why you say she deserves better than this….. So are you saying any female actress on this deserves this because they are not in her caliber?

And if all actors thought like that than we wouldn’t get good actors to play ml in a female centric drama cause they are better than being in one.

It depends what you watch. I’ve even seen some side characters or villain char who were so good it left an impression on me. That’s how I became a fan of Leo and CY, their villain role lol
But maybe I am bias for Leo cause he is one of the few actors that I say he can sometimes over shadow fl, even in terms of beauty. 🫣

Like you inferring nice looking means they are not evil is a common first impression people make to associate chars from good/bad and yes that is also putting them into a box. Cause some char can be complicated that their looks cant define them as they are neither good nor bad. Their the grey chars. But its not wrong to think that way either, because it’s often also intended for char base/development just as archetypes are used.

Anyways I dont think her char is gonna be a villain, maybe a grey char, if its true her role will fight for thrown. (Dont forget im not sure if that is her char, i just read melon say it lol could be wrong)
