I am sure I saw dozen of those but the only ones I can remember are: Ice World, Byakuyako, One Million Stars Falling from The Sky, A Sleepless Forest and Guilty Akuma to Keiyakushita Onna. That's as far as my memory can go.

Shinigami no Seido would be my top recommendation for you. I do not watch Chinese films so I could be missing some of his best.

It's true that I still prefer Japanese horror films, but I do believe that Thailand is professional at making those. At the matter of fact, that's the only thing I watch out of Thailand. However, I think that your picks aren't that frightening except for Phobia 2.

I am glad to hear about the upcoming films. I agree on Yamada being the villain, he has better acting skills than Fujiwara.
I saw Bakumatsu Kokosei the drama and I am looking forward to the film remake.
I was expecting the second season of Ita-kiss because they shouldn't make the same mistake the 1996 version did. Also, Miki is indeed young and it's not about her non-ability of portraying the role, Japanese producers won't make a 16-17 year old girl make steamy scenes. You can dream to see that in a J-drama so everyone who had what happened in They Kiss Again in their mind should erase it.
Miike's upcoming drama and film are intriguing especially the film. Let's see what will Miike make out of Ikuta.

No dramas but there are some good films with Takeshiro in it. They can be considered Slice of Life too.

I wish you luck with that but other friends couldn't find it subbed even with torrents. It's really a shame.

I watched all the seasons and the films as well. I am also watching the currently airing 12th season. They're not actually related so you can start any season that seems interesting to you but it would be better to start from the beginning because you may feel lost with characters. However, I doubt if you will find the older seasons online.

There's a reason why this drama is being yearly produced in Japan.
