What an awesome list CS! While I don't agree with many dramas in your top 10 but most of them are quite good. My top 5 would be: Karamazov no kyodai, Woman, Saiko no Rikon, Tonbi and Hanzawa Naoki. I also liked Kurokouchi and Lagal High 2. I quite agree on your worries about the female lead in ItaKiss though.
It's great to give attention to Jdramas every once in a while. Let's all hope that 2014 will be even more successful.

Tokyo Story is a hit classic for Japanese and I agree that watching it first is the best choice but the remake is also quite good.

I only saw your Japanese picks and I loved them, Ore Ore may be weird and as you said it's getting attention because of Kame but it's really one of Satoshi Miki's better works. Also, Tokyo Family was such a great remake of the classic; nothing less from Yoiji.

I will try to watch the Korean films you mentioned; I am also quite sure that thriller is the strongest genre in Korean cinema.

I only watched Fabulous Boys out of Taiwan this year and it was good (^_^)

Let's see, I am glad that I didn't watch When a Man's in Love and 7th grade Civil Servant; I was saved at the last minute by you so thanks a lot. On the other hand, I think I only saw Gu Family Book and Two Weeks from MBC this year. While I am glad that Seung Gi got an award, I fully agree that Suzy doesn't even deserve to be nominated and LOL at "give her a cookie not an excellence award".
I am also disappointed that Two Weeks didn't get anything; it's too bad.
I am looking forward to your thoughts about KBS and SBS awards.

Yes, I saw Toshi Densetsu no Onna but I still haven't watched the second season yet. Too many dramas to watch and too little time. Are you liking it?
