There so should be a point in a season 2, 'that guy' hasn't been fully revealed yet and seems like the final boss. The Prophecy hasn't been completed yet (we know how this will end). There's a billion dollars worth of war horses out there in the wilderness, someone has to get rich. The army prince is whipping ass out there and you can't let a prince have too much power like that without being the king so he surely needs to get chopped.

not a big fan of the plot so far, favourite thing so far is spotting who was also in the longest day of chang 'an.
