Agree with what u said.. When i read the book, i imagined this scene to be more sexy and kinda like a dark vibe.. I expected a passionate kiss too, to be honest!!

Not that i hated the cute portrayal of the scene, but it was slightly disappointing.. A bit rushed and the vibe from the book was totally lost in this scene!!

As for the kiss scene, i read somewhere that they are all newbies so they are all pretty much new into this on screen kiss thing.. I dont know why they cut short the duration..!!! I hope they will atleast give us a one hour ep without rushing the story..

Its so damn sure that one season isnt enough to explore the story.

So I hope for atleast one more season. !

Unlike the way the book describes the same incident with different POVs, may be developing the story with diff POV parallely would be nice..!

I would like to see Jayfer end game.! From what i have read so far, both of them had gone through a lot and they deserve so much happiness..

I too want a happy ending.. I hope may be by the end of next season we will get to see a complete happy family❤

Book 2 had so many fights.. But honestly, i wasnt bored or i didn't feel like it was too much dragging.. Yeah, she could have avoided certain things but i felt okay with that..

But i wouldn't prefer to see all those fights if they were to make another season..

Jay's past trauma is addressed in book 2 only.. Hopefully, there will be a season 2 and will get to see her childhood story too in the show.

Yuri being a red flag, i am not sure what gonna happen bcz i am yet to read that part.. But the author was giving us certain hints here and there about his probable dark side through different characters like CiN, Percy, Freya etc.. So i assume it was a gradual development of the character and not something which was abrupt!! If he is gonna be a red flag, i hope we will be shown enough reasons for his actions or his actual character rather than just pushing him into a red flag for the sake of the story..

But the story is not over yet..!! So God knows what she is gonna come up with next!!

My personal pick is: book 1 was just an introduction.. Book 2 is where the drama takes place.. Book 3 is the explanations and a wrap up..
So far book 3 is my fav.. Bcz i am getting closures for many of my questions here😌😌

Right now in book 3.. Book 2 waa too much drama and book 3 (as of now) i am reading the explanations for all that.. So up until now it feels okay..

But i too hope the story won't be dragged anymore.. I wish the author would wrap up the story soon..

As for the show, may be one more season is enough to conclude the story if not two.. Still i hope they will tie up the loose ends and there wont be anything left to answer at the end.!

I would also like to call her a grey character like others.. She is a good girl after all but she needs to learn where she can meddle and where she can't!! Thats tha character growth i am expecting from her.

Like the Ram incident there were many instances where she acted too carelessly that puts others as well as herself in danger..

Yeah.. She is a good girl and is compassionate to others and all.. But her hot temper is putting others also in danger and many at times i feel like she isn't realising that!

I hope she too changes for the better and get past her traumas in book 3. Bcz unlike the past she had, she is being loved and cared by many now.. She has got brothers, lover, and a whole bunch of crazy friends who are willing to do anything and everything for her!! So its time for some character growth in Jay too..

I too hope so.. Changing the narrative all of a sudden to please certain fandoms is not something that i would prefer..!

Original book 3 with Keif's POV is really needed to understand book 2 incidents.. But the one she published again as book 3 starts again with Jay's POV and i didnt like it to be honest.. ( bcz i am tired of reading the story from just one side.)

I would like to hear the story from others POV.. Keifer, Percy, Aries, Yuri and so
on.. Bcz we have been mostly reading Jay's
POV in book 2.

Dont know which book she is gonna finish and when she will finish.. 😐😐 i hope she goes with her original plot and ends things swiftly and smoothly..!!

Okay lemme clarify certain things..!!

Yes, Keifer was annoying in book2.. No doubt in that.. But he wasnt the only one thats annoying in book 2..

As for calling her mine, she too actually confessed her love to him and kissed.. Yeah, they never had a label but they both confessed to each other and had their own little moments.. Which never happened with Yuri.. The only thing that she feels towards him is pity and guilty..

About breaking her heart and pushing her away, u need to read book 3 inorder to understand why he did so. Even by the end of book2, u can kinda assume that his decision to do all that wasnt intended to hurt her..

Surprisingly, Yuri was the first one who realised that something else is going on with Keif.. Percy, CiN, David, Felix, Calix they all say the same..!! But Jay dont want to assume and want a confirmation from him ( which i think is valid and i agree with her on this).

I am not saying Jay is the biggest red flag..!

First of all they all are 18 and they all come from really messed up backgrounds ( not sure about Yuri though bcz still i haven't completed book 3).So if v r going to sympathize with one character we should do the same for others..

I do understand Jay's hurt and her behavior.. But towards the end of the book2, her temper and certain actions of her was really annoying.. She was being hunted by different groups and still she had the audacity to do things in ways that she pleased putting everyone in danger.. Also, if her mind was clear for Keif, i dont know why she isnt trying to understand him or his situation even after that Sato fight!!?? Bcz she tries to understand literally everyone (especially Yuri) around her but as for Keif, so far she isnt doing anything. Thats y i said, she makes
me pissed.

As for Keif, he was a red flag.. Early in book 1. No justifications for what he did wrong..! But he realised his wrong doings and is even trying to get medical help to fix his situation..

As for Yuri, he wasnt innocent to begin with but not an evil person too.. He loved Jay but in book 2 we understand that Yuri knew about the rest room make out and he was there when Jay confessed to Keif.. Who in his right mind would still insist on a marriage even at that point..!! He even said to Jay at point that he actually won bcz Jay will physically be with him even if her heart belonged to Keif.. ( personally, i feel that was a disgusting thing to say it to someone u loved and here onwards that i started to wonder what he actually wants from Jay)..Also he tried to kiss her many times too saying that Keif had done that many times.. So he was also acting like he was in a competition to claim her.. Not to mention her mother's threat to Keif using Jay..

So all in all, if one can be considered red flag, they all are, in one way or the other.. I am not saying one is bigger than the other.. As the book progress, the perception about characters are also changing.. ( i am still in book 3)

None are black and white characters.. They all are shades of Grey!!

But will they ever become black or white?!! Need to see the ending of book 3..😊

As for Keifer, he started the plan with the intention of hurting jay and Aries. He schemed to take revenge on him ( for many things) and everyone in section E including Yuri was up for it. Even when Yuri realised his feelings for her and confessed to Keif, he never told her about the plan.. So if Keif was bad so is Yuri and all others in section E.

But then later we see that everyone stopped the plan and they all loved Jay in their own ways.. From then onwards atleast Keif had tried his best to support and care her even when his life was like hell.. He had become a better person bcz of her..

But Yuri on the other hand was working in the background and tried to win over Jay by using a business proposal..
In the book at one instance, Keif says that he knew what Yuri was planning but he never cared about it bcz none were clean at the time.. Also he wasnt afraid of Yuri's plan bcz he knew Yuri wont succeed in his plans..

So if Keif can be called a schemer so is Yuri.. As CiN pointed out, Yuri isnt an innocent as he looks as he always does things behind others back..!!

And yes, Keif had reasons for acting that way.. Juat like Jay, he too comes from an abusive childhood and he is also facing problems associated with that. But through book 2 and 3 he grows up a lot to become a better person and as per spoilers i read, Yuri goes the opposite way..!

When i started, i thought this is another teenage story.. I couldn't be more wrong!! 😅😅
I have just started book 3.. No idea where the story is gonna go!
But so far, loving it!

She is hot headed still in book 3..

I can guarantee you, u will feel frustrated at times ( bcz of different characters).. But there are funny moments too in between..

Original book 3 starts from Keif's POV.. Its dark on one side yet funny on the other side.. And u will feel for that boy..!!🥹
Its hilarious to see how much he had changed from book 1 to book 3..😂

And u might also feel the urge yo smack Jay but just hold it in..!! Hope she too redeems herself.. 😂😂

More related to the Watsons lineage.. There are certain subtle hints here and there, if my suspicions are right, thats going to be the BIGGEST plot twist..!!!!

( Also i read somewhere that Yuri fans were furious of the way his character developed, slowly turning evil and now the author is trying to change the narrative) 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

They are one year apart if I remember correctly and something happened during the kidnapping incident.. Thats what the reason for Aries hatred towards Jayjay.
