This is what i thought too when i read the book.. Can anyone be trusted in the whole fricking story??!!! The answer…
I used to watch k dramas and now i am kinda tired of watching them.. Its my first filipino drama and so far i am loving it.! Definitely a change to see a bold heroine. Also its not just about the main leads, its actually so wholesome.. Each and every character is important in the story and they are not just fillers!!
Keif gave up his plan long ago. He loves her but his pride is not letting him to say it out loud as of now. ( has nothing to do with Yuri). But we see him growing through books 2 and 3 and he is changing himself for good.. He is also trying to get past his traumas.. You are right, Yuri is digging his own grave.. ( from the spoilers that i read. Still havent finished book3).
Once the plan is revealed to Jay, as we expect she had a fall out with section E. Cant blame her.. ( although they also gave up the plan long back).. But they try to make up for it.. David, CiN, Felix, Calix, Edrix, Kit they all come up with their own ways to apologize to her.. That was so heartwarming to see.. They were all there for her when she needed them the most and in book 2 ending we see their bond🥹🥹🥹
Yes, Percy is alive and was taken to US by his mother. He couldn't let anyone know about him. He is back for a purpose..! He is planning to take Jay back to her dad thats y he can be seen time and again in that neighborhood.(others find out about him in book 2)
As for Kiko, he was my fav character too up until that scene.. If u remember, Aries never liked Kiko courting Jay and i suppose he and section e boys had an idea about his character. Thats y they forbade Jay about dating him.. And no, it wasnt a misunderstanding.. He actually tried doing it and if it weren't for Aries, Jay must have been r***d by him..
We are gonna see him again in second book and will see what happened to him after the incident.. I know i shouldn't feel any pity for what he did but i kinda felt bad after reading about his condition..
The plot gets even more heavy!! 😅😅 book 1 is the most light hearted one..
Book 2 and most importantly book 3 is needed for us to know the characters.. Then we will understand why its Keifer…
Yeah it is!! But i wasnt bored though.. We will get to know why both of them are the way they are now.. Especially Keifer..! They both are similar yet so different in the ways they express things.. Book 3 is my fav so far❤

What i felt was book 1 is light and was actually setting the stage for all the dramas to unfold..!
Book 2 is insane!! Loootssss of plot twists and we will get answers to many questions yet we will have many more questions by the end..! (Hats off to the author for coming up with scenarios without losing the relevance of any characters). Trust me. Each and evey character has a role in it!
We will feel frustration, betrayal anger everything while reading book 2. Jay had gone through a lot in book 2. Most of the secrets related to her will be revealed in book 2. But we will also start to see Keif's life and its even more heartbreaking than Jay. Yuri's mysterious nature is still not much explored in book 2.
But Jay's relationship with Yuri is something thats pissed me off at the end of book2. She was so badly down for Kiefer yet she is so soft towards Yuri even when he tries to have a romantic relationship with her.. Many at times i wondered why she didnt say a solid NO..! Even Yuri was also going after her when he clearly knew she isn't gonna be his.. While everyone including Yuri was trying to understand Keif's situation, Jay was acting like a child in my opinion ( she clearly had reasons for acting that way but after that final Sato fight, she still needed assurance..!! ??Cmon)
From what i have read so far, book 2 is where most of the drama takes place and book 3 explains reasons for it.. Book 3 is where we see the actual character of Keifer and i feel so proud of that boy.. The growth he had!! If there is any character thats not yet grown ( in a positive or negative way) even after 3 books, thats Jay.. She is still adamant and hot headed. !!
Dont know the backstory of Yuri yet.. May be thats y i cant sympathise with him..yet..
Note: Book 3 isnt finished by the author.. And i haven't finished reading the chapters that came out too.. So once the story develops, all these might change.

Book 1 ends with Jay Yuri engagement and Keif's confession. In book 2, she is sure about her feelings towards Keif but she feels obligated to love Yuri as his fiancee for the sake of her family business.. Jay confessed her love to Keif in book 2 but many at times she feels sorry for Yuri bcz she cant love him back. At one point she feels sorry for Yuri and thats when she kissed him..Kiefer obviously was mad at her..( we get to know Kiefer - yuri - Ella backstory too in book 2 which is important to understand the response of Kiefer here) She says to Yuri that she tried her best but cannot help it.. Its only Kiefer..
Then hell broke loose.. Section E's plan is revealed. Keifee starts to push Jay away from him due to his family threatening him and Jay. Hanamitchi's also start to threaten Keif using Jay and asks him to give up on her (Yuri's mom wanted Jay for her son). Yuri tries his best to win Jay back by supporting her through all this mess. But then Jay gets to know that the engagement was a plan put forwarded by Yuri to get her. ( i think Yuri himself said that to her). After meeting one of the elders of the Hanamitchi clan ( who insulted her), she storms out and asks Yuri to break off the engagement. As Yuri realises that nothing else can be done, he says he will do the same only under one condition :' to start over again'.. Then he pretends to be someone who meets Jay for the first time and behaves so sweetly and all.. He even tries to kiss her again even whe says she does not want that..But as the story progress, he is more and more clear that he was never a choice for her..!!!
Now at book 3. Dont know how the dynamics is gonna develop further.

Reading Book 3 now, its a hell lot of drama!!! But i love reading it😅 its fun to connect the dots and see the development of characters.. Yeah, Jay had crush on both Kiko and Yuri. When she got to know about David Kiko problem she lost interest in him. Her crush on Yuri never developed further but i must say she has a soft spot for him even though he too had hurt her( dont know why but its kinda annoying to see that at the end of book 2 and book 3).. There might be changes in the show, no idea..!!
Felix is also unaware of Kiko's plans.. He was used to lure Jay into the party. I guess Aries knew what kinda person Kiko was, thats why he forbade jay to date him. Thank god Aries was there before anything happens but Kiko is gonna get a big 'reward' later for what he did!!. He deserved it.. ( liked the actor playing Kiko.. So sad to see his character ends up this way). Next week we are going to see Halloween scenes.. Probably introduction of new full fledged characters in the story like Percy, Honey, Keigan and Keiren.. (his little brothers). We will get to see Keif's home too ( as per the book). At the party, Jay is gonna get jealous for Keifer and they are gonna kiss.. The scene is so good in the book.. Yuri wont be there, as he is in Japan for the vacation.. Only CiN and Keiren are at the party along with them and they tease them after that..
(The part after that kiss, the awkwardness and the little conversation they had when Keif dropped Jay at home is my fav❤ 🥹but i dont think it will be shown in the drama.. I hope they do..)

Sorry to disappoint you, but he never had an intention to disclose anything to her. Bcz he himself is a schemer just like Keif.. If Keif is bad Yuri is just as bad if not worst.. In the book, they have been friends for so long and they both know each other very well and fall for the same girl.. Its almost like carbon copies..!! They kniw each others plan too..Yet, none does anything to stop the other.. Character Yuri looks innocent but he is no different than others..
NB: no offense to the actor or fans shipping Jayri.. Just my thought after reading the book. Hope u dont hate me. 🙏

Yuri was an accomplice to the plan and even after confessing his feelings to Keif, he still isnt doing anything and playing along.. On top of that, he is in a competition to claim Jay.. ( in book 2 we can clearly see that) even when he knows that Jay and Keif both love each other.. Boy, if u want her, just be honest with her and stop using their weakness for ur own benefit..
Section E boys are also assholes to go along with the plan ( but none of them are doing the plan now by the way).. There is David, Drew, Edrix, Mayo, Kit, Rory and even CiN who are doing things behind her back and hurting her..
So is Aries, Ella, Freya, Angelo and even Percy too..
So who is good and who is bad.. NONE.. They all are grey.. And that includes Jay too.. After reading book 2, as much as i felt sorry for her and sympathised with her, there were times i wanted to smack her so thag she could see what actually is going on!!! There were times i wished, cant that girl just think for once properly!!!! ???
So all in all its a mess!!! Do i like mess..NO..but Since its a drama and not a reality, i am gonna love it!! 😄

Yeah Andres has a lot to improve but given the fact that he is debutant, i must say he is doing well especially in the emotional scenes like some others said.. But what i felt was that most of the hatred that comes for Andres is bcz he is playing an Anti- Yuri kinda character and his FAMILY legacy!!! Just bcz he is coming from an actors family we cant expect him to be good at acting without experience right..!! Lets give him some time.. He has improved a lot since ep1..
As for Rabin, for a 20 yr old he is doing too well.. Yuri's soft side for Jay and the mysterious feeling is rightly portrayed by him.. But then again he fell short on certain scenes with over acting or over the top expressions..
Emotional scenes of CiN, Calix, Felix, Denzel were all good..
The one person that i have no complaint about is ASHTINE.. She is literally the star of the show.. Like Andres said in an interview, Ash alone carries certain scenes.. !!! Be it comedy, romance, fight, emotional everything is safe with her..!! I was clearly surprised to see her acting range.. She is the GOAT among them!!!

Just think about it.. They had no plans to be a part of the festival but ipon Jay's insistence they participated and prepared a lot for the festival.. Then she disappeared without notice disappointing the entire section E. If u look at it, even for a jolly kid like CiN, he too was pissed.. None of them knew why she bailed out and on top of that they were all worried too bcz she wasnt picking up any calls..!!! So Keifer's emotions are valid here..!! Yeah, he could have asked her first but just like Jay or others, he is also a teenager with anger management issues..!! This time he was genuinely worried and angry and wasnt trying to get back at her!! She ditched section E and thats what made him angry.. The moment she said the reason we see him regretting what he did.. But yeah, its better if he can apologize to her.

Felix and Jay thought they invited them to the party bcz Felix won the game for them but it was just a trap.. Felix was used to lure Jay into the party ( otherwise section E wasnt allowed in it). But then, Calix was there at the party with Mica and he told Kief and others that Jay came to the party and cant find her now.. So the boys come to save her.. ( thankfully Aries was also there and he also tries to find her before anything happens)

Ella's situation was, both Keif and Yuri confessed to her but she actually chose Yuri ( she had no feelings for Keifer again).. But the Hanamitchi clan interfered and Yuri's mom threatened her as well as asked Keif to keep Ella away from Yuri.. Again Keif was not loved by her but kinda had to be with her ( Yuri as well as others thought that Keif was her actual choice). I think Aries was the only obe who knew the secret all along except for Keif and Ella herself..
In Keif's POV none of them loved him back.. They all loved Yuri and he was the one who got hurt both times.. ( although initially it gives out the impression that Yuri was the one who git abandoned). In Book 3 we get to know that Jay was the only one who loved Keifer wholeheartedly..

Jay's father is a from a rich and influential business family. She is an illegitimate child. She gets to know all these in book 2 only..

In Keif's POV none of them loved him back.. They all loved Yuri and he was the one who got hurt both times.. ( although initially it gives out the impression that Yuri was the one who git abandoned).
In Book 3 we get to know that Jay was the only one who loved Keifer wholeheartedly..
Reading their relationship dynamics so far, i feel sorry for Keif as well as Percy.. Bcz they were never an actual choice for the girls they loved at first..
Apart from that i like Rabin as an actor.. But Yuri, he ia bit annoying.
Its fun to reminisce the scenes and talk about it.. ( clearly i am addicted to the show too) 😄😄
I hope they will give us more seasons too..
