While this is a great show, Im Soojung's acting did not impress me here. Her overall vibe felt so contrived that her character felt cartoonish and not very real. I couldn't connect with her portrayal of Jeonseol, and that's a shame because otherwise this is a very solid drama.

Red flags of Gu Hyesun on her divorce:

????She admits into railroading him into marriage to limit his self determination and autonomy.

????She had him texting her from morning to bed time to account for his whereabouts. He had to tell her where he was and who he was with.

????She demanded he return to the house immediately because he was with Kyuhyun.

????She demanded he transfer his home - HIS ASSET - into her name because he brought his boss home to discuss work - idc if it was 3am. He's an actor and so is she - both are perfectly aware of the ridiculously long schedules they have. Plus, it's still his place. Telling him he can't invite someone to his place and then demanding exclusive control of it to prevent him ever inviting anyone into his home again is controlling.

????All of this shows evidence of attempting to isolate him even from his friends.

????She takes zero responsibility for anything and blames him for everything. Everything is his fault. He's immature. He's untrustworthy. He's not behaving responsibly. He's always at fault and is constantly belittled.

????He lost her shit at him because his stylist at his job bought him a birthday cake. That's why he's "untrustworthy" apparently. Because his job means he works with women. God help him if he had a kiss scene, i reckon she would have made demands there too.

????She was lying to their ceo about him. She posted ample lies on her social media about him and launched a full blown smear campaign to ruin him.

????She actually in there telling him he is lucky to have such a gracious wife that allows him to do certain things.. while simultaneously having a list of rules that include a curfew and restrictions on his social activity.

????She constantly dismissed his opinions his feelings and his mental health.

????And she is refusing to allow him his freedom even now. Refusing him a divorce. Constantly changing terms. Deliberately trying to ruin him and take everything he has - including his fkn cat ffs!!

She was going to leave him destitute, in $100k+ debt, without a career or a reputation, with no hope at all for the future WITH DEPRESSION! If the man didn't do something to clear his name he would have ended up a suicide statistic with people saying "Good riddance" over it.. Based entirely on lies..

She needs therapy.

Except Dispatch's texts and other people involved have basically verified what victims of abuse have been saying…
Proved? Except he never said it in the texts... it was all her blaming him again. He is a victim of HER abuse. She literally trespassed into his house, made him pay to divorce her and STILL said he couldn't...

Kind of a gross thing to say to a victim of abuse.

This drama had questionable logic in the beginning, but it was still engaging and overall made you want to continue watching more. And then the last 2 hours of the show happen... stupid decision followed by more stupid decisions. I thought the comments here were being harsh, before I actually watched the ending myself. I should've listened. Absolutely NO LOGIC anymore. I've been watching Kdramas for 8+ years now, and this was the MOST FRUSTRATING ending I've ever seen. There's no justice served and I feel enraged that the writers chose to dupe the watchers at the end with crappy writing attempting to be angst but just leaving so much frustration and absolutely no closure. Overall, I gave this a 6.5. If it weren't for the phenomenal acting and some of the twists and turns in the drama, I would have given this a 5. I should have trusted my gut when I started watching the drama and noticed the inconsistencies. I only persisted because of Kim Youngkwang's character. Holy crap. So disappointed, upset, mad... list goes on. Only watch this if you want to be frustrated at the end. I don't think a season 2 would even save this drama for me. It's that gut-wrenchingly awful logically at the end. Kim Youngkwang himself said he wasn't to pleased with the ending of the outcome of the show... and although he hopes for a S2, if it's the same writer working on it without logic, I absolutely won't be watching it.

Happy, but not in your traditional way.
The ending has the guy avenge his father's death. It doesn't show his face, but alludes strongly that Lee Junki's character is still alive at the end.

Because directors hate him! :P
Haha not really, I was just joking. His recent few dramas have him speaking a lot more lines. Everything including and after 20th Century Boy and Girl :)
