I thought this would be boring drama talking all the time about taxes but to my surprise it's actually quality drama it surprised me because I got hooked and finished it while enjoying it very much I loved the friendship and the lawyer changing sides I loved the light humor and how they told the story it's unique and really good

Romance is not main focus. MDL should change the poster. It was good drama but not for the people who like romance.

I know the Historical part of this drama is confusing as hell but this era was like that,, I've watched two historical dramas of the same era and couldn't understand a thing because it's really about two sides that fought each other for power by using spies, hidden agents and the spies or the double agents hence the name itself they don't belong clearly to one side you can't know which one of them is on which side at that time The drama called the wind blows from Lunxi was like that,, it also had bromance but very little because it focused on the political war between the two sides the two best friends in the finale one of them killed the other unintentionally because he learned that he switched sides but didn't know that he switched sides again just to save him it was really like that in real history

The historical part of the drama is the confusing part because in real life it was confusing as well so you can't really understand who is standing with whom

The ending feels lacking ,, Twenty episodes and the final two episodes to solve everything is just stupid ,, they spend about five or so episodes just investigating and talking non sense and two episodes for such ending horrible
