The summary of this drama didn't gave it justice ,, they revealed the plot about just the main couple leads but the drama is actually way more than the two main leads ,, they even not together that much to begin with I'm still at episode 20 Raw even not fully subbed and I'm hooked and really loving it I watched first few episodes and felt it was a bit boring and typical rebublican era drama then the war started for real and people's personalities began to act in distress mode ,, everything changed from peaceful kind of boring times to survival game and trying to live while being useful to others ,, helping kids to grow and learn ,,instructing pilots how to fly Fighter aircraft while fighting the enemy and useless politics but not much focus on politics ,,,,, The story isn't just about a love story of two young people in war ,, the story is about people in general who is trying to survive while saving young generations to keep fighting ,, also it's not military drama per say nor political one ,,it's humanity drama that will touch your heart with multiple story lines and every story has unique way of dealing with war TO my surprise This drama has amazing Brotherhood between the soldiers especially the two male leads ,, their brotherly love is everything that got me hooked from episode 15 to 19 ,, their friendship is killer and healer drama like friendship they stick together no matter what they face the romance is sad but beautiful ,,it's not overly exaggerated nor dull or cold ,,it's warm and sad sometimes happy sometimes This drama is for the people who like sad stories but story has underlined many emotional stories and they are all touching and heart warming I will write another review when I finish it but I truly recommend such amazing drama currently on air This is underrated gem
Didn't imagine this drama has very good Bromance /male friendship and very strong one at that his best friend didn't leave his side for four episodes straight and cared for him than anyone else

It's standalone series ,, each episode has different case sometimes multiple episodes to one case ,,it's similar to insect detective kind of cases but not the bromance
The only thing annoys me about this drama is the medical ignorance to basic medical help,,, someone is shot from his back ,, hit the lungs but sleeping on his back the whole damn time not getting any oxygen mask and in this drama it has multiple oxygen masks for other patients but not him LOL getting a surgery while wearing his pajamas LOL that was laughable the pajama was all buttoned up I don't know how is he getting the surgery like that LOL at least other republican dramas had that part logical at least the basics so our mind doesn't wonder off the topic
This drama surprised me and I'm hooked but be warned ,,it will be heart breaking ,, there are a lot of sadness in this drama ,,, from episode 14 till now episode 17 all sad and crying ,, people injured or dying ,,love birds separated But it worth the pain,, I like it

Korean drama this year is average ,, nothing similar to 2016 or 2017 dramas at all ,, Chinese dramas are getting better and better ,, I watch more chinese now than korean
