If you watched both main leads in Ultimate note drama you would have fallen in love with them now because there they were also friends and Joseph was the male lead there too ,, his acting is amazing by the way you should watch some of his modern dramas
I gave the first 2 episodes a try but it almost put me to sleep. It's not for me. I'll have to drop.
If you like Bromance or friendship between male leads ,, there are plenty of it ,, also some wuxia fights but not that good to be honest ,, overall from episode six onward there is a good story
She's not the main focus so I don't care much about her LOL
She doesn't show much in later episodes don't worry ,, she's not the main focus ,, it's multiple leads dramas focusing on other characters not just her

Didn't watch Grand master of Taoism but I love the real friendship between joseph and Liu Yunning since Ultimate note they promoted it and started shooting this one after it so they were close for a long time even the latest photoshoot with the red hair shows how close they are as friends I posted a photo on my profile few days ago
