when I saw the blood splatter scene while he experimented with the corpse at first I thought of the massacre scene from Parasite movie in the garden

It reminded me a lot of the memorist

Why is it most of his dramas without english subtitles ?? he's so underrated actor and most of his dramas are really good but without subs

from episode 12-22 just draggy sub plot that has nothing to do with the main story or the main leads
ten episodes of draggy boring sub plot ,, it's picking up the main story after that

The first episode is really good and interesting also fast paced not boring ,, I'm interested to continue watching

It's not that bad ,,but If you're looking for romance that's not it ,, the romance in this drama isn't good at all

I finished this gem yesterday and I have to say I loved it so much except for the ending seemed rushed ,,OK I agree that the the drug and guns cartels have to be executed but I'm feeling there were many scenes for us fans were cut from the drama ,, Like How is it Gu Tao just got imprisoned without a word ,, even the subordinates when they got investigated they had so much screen time but not him ,, his reaction to the undercover cop and to him being deceived like that ?? also the cop didn't even mentions him once as if he was dead ,, I wished they would have actually killed him than just forget him like that
I felt sorry for him
also the adopted kid ,, didn't meet the main lead after his mission ended that was a bummer too

They started the first episode with interesting scene and finish it with similar scene ?? who is that doctor ?? and how he's connected to the male lead ??

I have to say the main lead did a brilliant job portraying the drug addict detoxing ,, WOW !!! from episode 32 to 36 just WOW
