I've watched all of the lost tomb dramas except for this one and the newest release and to be honest ,, This one is the least favorite of them all ,,I got bored a lot the most interesting part was when Cheng Yi appeared with his two characters in it that was exciting for me and I enjoyed his characters so much the rest is mediocre compared to the other dramas of the same series

Actually the ending was good because it was kind of open ended ,, you can't actually confirm if it was a sad ending or a happy one,,, it's up to your interpretation
There is also one korean drama that a lot similar to this one called liver or die
The drama didn't have a lot of celebrities may be none ,, most actors aren't very popular of the drama also the story is similar to the bond irritating at times from the siblings behavior ,, that doesn't appeal much to audience who watch korean dramas I watched it and it's a lot similar to the bond in every way
Can you please recommend similar dramas to this and Like A Flowing River?P.S. Haven't read comments below to avoid…
Dear parents Drama is a lot similar but lighter in tone and have some happiness and hope in it but also realistic and has it's melodramatic family situations
I didn't watch the whole drama but few episodes from the beginning and the end I want to ask about Qiao Qi Qi the youngest sibling ,, what was his relationship with his oldest brother? why at the finale he asked his cousin to be his real brother and said I'm paying your favor by donating to my brother the kidney ? or I misunderstood ?
I need another comparable drama to see. Anyone who can recommend? I have seen Minning town, remember ace of things…

Your review is amazing ,, I didn't watch the drama yet fully but once in a while I open some episodes just to see glimpses of it ,, to be honest I wanted to watch it for Bai Yu after his acting in the long night was perfect... I believe that he's one of the best actors in china ,, he really can stretch his characters to any age and does it perfectly but the story or the plot it self for me is too gloomy too realistic and I'm running from reality to watch entertaining dramas to make me feel good not to make me feel worse than I'm seeing how life is horrible to good people but I agree with what you've said and I recommend for you watching dear parents drama it's also a family drama realistic but lighter in tone and has hope in life and in people more hope than this one more optimism
