I've watched to episode 8... there is definitely romance but it's realistic not the fluffy kind ,, the story leans towards realistic aspect of young people try to achieve their goals in life and very ambitious
they will discuss how female students are treated at that time and how they wanted to succeed too in the world of men
so the drama main focus is mostly about youth's ambition in the 90s not about relationships or romance

From the first episode it didn't disappoint ,, amazing every thing ,, story , acting and cinematography
every thing is just perfect

The 90s style was the worst ,, I remember it clearly cause it was my childhood
also in my country we have a lot of dramas from that time ,,, the outfits were horrible and the jeans were the trendy style at that time ... in this drama it's more like the 80 s than 90 s

Gu Zi Cheng plays Xu Shu ,,, he looks so different here from his historical style and actually looks more his young age ,, I loved him from No boundary ,, I hope he can be friends with Steven good bromance I mean and not to fall in love triangle

Behind the scenes always shows it all ,, they don't cut from it the cut scenes ,, Ancient detective drama has so many scenes cut that were in the bts also killer and healer drama if we didn't see the deleted scenes we wouldn't understand most of the unexplained transitioned scenes in the drama

He does it beautifully ,,, I've never seen more beautiful spitting blood scene like his hahahhaha

Just finished it but with 2X speed after watching the previous one
Over all it wasn't that bad but it was the most underwhelming of them all
the actors did their best portraying the character except for the one played Xiao Ge ,, I don't know if it was the director decision or the actor himself but that wasn't Zhang Qi Ling we all knew and loved from the rest of the dramas ,,, his character was always unique and has it's own charm even with different actors ,, here he was more like an ordinary normal person without any charm
I don't recommend this drama or this part ,, it didn't add a lot to the story actually they repeated a lot of the previous season here

OMG!!!! Is this true ?? to be honest I find his characters are the most interesting of all the characters in this drama

I've watched all of the lost tomb dramas except for this one and the newest release and to be honest ,, This one is the least favorite of them all ,,I got bored a lot
the most interesting part was when Cheng Yi appeared with his two characters in it
that was exciting for me and I enjoyed his characters so much
the rest is mediocre compared to the other dramas of the same series

Really sad for the low rating ,, it deserves more than that

Actually the ending was good because it was kind of open ended ,, you can't actually confirm if it was a sad ending or a happy one,,, it's up to your interpretation

I think this scene was cut from the drama

Cheng Yi likes these kinds of characters ,,killing himself for his loved one

The drama didn't have a lot of celebrities may be none ,, most actors aren't very popular of the drama also the story is similar to the bond irritating at times from the siblings behavior ,, that doesn't appeal much to audience who watch korean dramas
I watched it and it's a lot similar to the bond in every way

There is also one korean drama that a lot similar to this one called liver or die
