This was my first drama with those actors, Never watched them before in anything but from this drama I've added to my absolutely favorite list three actors Ryan Cheng, Tan Jia Rui and the young kid lister
To be honest , I love certain characters in this drama more than the main couple ,, I didn't feel attracted to their story the male lead is very immature and she's way out of his league and yet she loved him because of her shitty past I didn't feel their love story is good or unique, it's more like romance by convenience nothing more and more like the older sister's love story is more attractive to me at least because she can be relatable to any ordinary girl who fells in love with the handsome guard, the only person that treated her with kindness in her lonely life also the other romantic story of the second couple was more attractive because of Gong Shang Jue's personality and how he fell in love but still taking precautions and treating her with his guard up every time he doubts her , his story was appealing to watch not like this fool lover boy
Maybe I'm the only one here that thinks Ling he's character doesn't deserve to be the sword Weailder,, he's like a spoiled prince who indulges himself in his matters rather than be concerned about his sect's matters he didn't even care to investigate properly his father's death and became a drool-loving boy to the famel lead, Gong Shang Jue on the other hand is more suitable for the position, when he is deep in love with the other female lead he didn't forget his younger brother nor his sect's matters and kept investigating
Never played a drama 5X faster like this drama I don't know what I was thinking when I downloaded it to binge-watch it later Maybe because of the male leads I thought wow they could be friends or brothers and that would be awesome but I was utterly disappointed by everything

I finished the drama to the final episode so I'm not commenting about half through watching so many questions why the female lead hid her illness from her husband whom she loved so much. why the husband didn't ask his wife first about what he knew before he cheated on her? why the female lead didn't protect her daughter properly after her best friend stalked the kid ? why the husband went to the second female lead asking her to let go of his wife and telling her about the evidence he has on her while knowing she's a murderer and crazy hating his wife? why the female lead didn't go to the police with all the evidence she had and let herself be a target for every person coming to her house hitting her and threatening her? where did the young man who committed all those crimes go in the ending? where is his punishment? does mental illness justify stupid actions from smart interior designer and business woman and protective mother? where is the actual police in all of this and how they didn't ask the detectives who were assualted by the sfl about the young man's murderer ?
