Agree. Shang Jue not doing it just to do it. It's because the future of the clan depends on this position. Even Zi Yu admits Shang Jue is the better man for the job, but it feels like he can't let go because of his suspicions, but also because of his pride.

She didn't forget anything. Those are little GYZ's poisoned needles. I am guessing she needed to use to the excuse of forgetting something back in her room so she could inspect them as it would be hard to do once she got to the Jue residence.
