After LLTG, IS and BW found a loophole to the 40 episode limit by dividing the drama into parts and airing both parts without interruptions they added the at least three month wait rule between parts or seasons, but this year they changed that to 12 months, plus all episodes must be at most 45 minutes, possibly because TTEOTM and TLP had episodes that were like 1.5h. Supposedly the new 12month rule doesn't apply to dramas which were already filmed but who knows. That's why I'm waiting for official news.

This drama isn't officially done airing though. There are three episodes still marked as express on my account. I think it was supposed to end on the 23rd. We just got Express a week early. But they can't air right after because they still had to wait 3 months before the 12 month rule was made. I will wait for official news.
