I have had the experience of liking the first 10-15 episodes of a drama and then feel like the drama went downhill from there. So, I just wait till it's like two episodes away or till it ends.

We have all been there... jajaja

Many, including myself, only rate dramas when they are like two episodes away from ending or when they have fully completed airing.

Also, for me, you are one of the few YaoLui that see the big picture.

I think a lot of Jing fans do analyze the details of the drama despite all the romantic scenes YaoJing have. Personally, I have rewatched more times the scene from ep. 30 than the kiss one. I might be a masochist. Although, I have also rewatched the romantic scenes way too much also. Jajaja But then again, I have also rewatched many other scenes which do not include Jing.

Honestly, I am just disappointed in this comment thread. I understand loving one of the male leads over the others, but that is no excuse for diminishing their role and contributions to the story. Do I think XL is toxic and abusive? Yes, but I also see how difficult his life has been, how little love he has been shown and received, and I see how he is willing to let go of love for the sake of his loyalty and for her happiness because he knows he can't put her first in his life. Do I think Xuan is an asshole? Yes, but I also see how the events from his childhood, not being able to protect XY and consequently, losing her, twisted him and drove his need to obtain power and that also makes for a very complex character. They are all complex character who complement each other. They all lack something, but they all have something to offer too. They all love her in their own ways and she loves all of them in her own way.

So far the drama has followed the story of the novel closely.

I think the actor isn't in the database and even if he's added and information is missing it will get rejected.

I still feel she didn't get the ending she deserved.
