I completely agree with you. They have ruined it for not just one character, but for all of them. I wonder if TH is fully to blame for this mess or if she succumbed to pressure from the production team. I would never willingly kill my own work, but not everyone thinks the same. lol

If I remember correctly, XY tries to kill herself after the XiYu/FL attempt and Jing comes back after XL destroys the bugs because XL does this when XY is still... comatose after he saves her from her attempt and when Jing returns it's when XY is about to become the Royal Mother.
" powerful death scene" I am certain you will get it, after all almost all the CG budget went to all of XL's scenes…
Then all won't be lost and we get a glorious death. And I do mean just the death not battle because the battles have been a joke because with they have been butchering the story and making Jing smaller, I'm seriously starting to doubt he will make it to the end, let alone be endgame... So they better make it worth my while.
