You can be that guy. I thought the same thing. Between that and all other flashbacks, I think at least of 20 minutes of the episode was wasted on repeated scenes.

Why is this hate for Soo Hyun coming? Just because she refused to side with the protagonist doesn't mean she was…
I don't dislike her character because she never sided with or trusted KYH, but because she went into things without thinking it through. For example, she saw the Bamboo Spear group attacking while she was with Elijah. She decided to be the heroine, putting a minor, who also has a disability, in a very dangerous situation that would have ended badly if KKO and KYH hadn't arrived in time. All I could think at that time is "what in the world is this stupid b thinking?". She didn't call for backup until after things were under control. It's fine to be all about law, order, and justice, but she did not have critical thinking.

I think that's the main reason why she's so hated.
