The author of the story describes him that way. Wears bright red and carries a fan at all times. Very true to…
Then, WXY is doing a great job with the character because that describes perfectly what I'm seeing him do/be.

When you see his entrance, you'll understand why we are simping so hard
It's hard not to with his entrances. I replayed that first one way too many times. 😂

She and her team listened to the critics and decided to start from scratch by taking smaller roles so they can…
I'm glad they did that. I was so surprised by how good she was that I had to pause the episode and check if it was really her.

I'm perfectly okay with the romance taking the backseat and revenge being the main vocal point in this drama.…
A slowburn really makes more sense for this drama.

i GASPED so loud. I thought he still had a small bit of empathy inside him, but he didn't. That, made me hate…
I was so surprised when he just hit her with that shovel without any hesitation. The, he has the audacity to scream like he wasn't the one who did that

I think very few could pull off a scene like that without me cackling since it could easily border on cringey. He managed it, not a single cackle out of me during that scene.

I also felt the comedy scenes with the maids and cousin were a bit too much.
I hope they are toned down or kept sparse.

Okay, I just finished the first five episodes. So, far I like it. It has an impactful first episode and it has kept its momentum. The pace is good, the acting is decent, the OST fits the story, the female lead character so far is smart, decisive, and arranging the game well, the villains are villaining, and the male lead is smart and has a flair for the dramatics himself. My only complaint is the slaptick comedy which is painfully cringey and especially noticeable in the scenes with the maids and her cousin

Her: "Duke Su, you are meddling a bit too much"
Me: "Yes, Duke Su. You are meddling way too much. GO AWAY and let the woman do whatever she needs to do!"😅😅

Duke Su's meddling reminds me a little of Zhang Zhe in Kunning Palace, the duke is more cunning though.
