If they cut her out, I wish they would have merged her character into Ning's character by episode 5 or so, made this girl grow the hell up, and spare us the real Ning for the rest of the drama.💀

Yes, I definitively wouldn't wonder why. It's a shame because he needs someone who understands the harsh realities of life and this girl just threw a whole temper tantrum about he has changed (he has *gasp* responsabilities) and how she doesn't want to grow up.🙄

I wonder if in the drama they keep her as the love interest. Is the show really only 24 episodes? Because this other love interest needs to get in there now if she's going to exist.😅

I'm at episode 8 and with Canxing's behavior in the previous episodes, I'm suspecting the same. It's very strange to want someone who is obviously capable and is doing what he definitely isn't to rebel. For what?

When it comes to Ning, I need her to be removed completely 💀 from the story, her character to grow up, or her scenes to be cut.

That is a scary thought. Her days are comprised of accusing Xiu of hiding women in his room, running after him, and being a brat. I'd want to rebel too if I worked my whole life towards keeping something running and someone like her was the future leader.😅

Yes! He was such a by the rules man in Strange Tales, so I was pleasantly surprised when his character wasn't all "this should be done like this because according to this law..."

I've watched four episodes so far. I love watching Yang Xu Wen portraying a cheeky type of character especially after watching him in Strange Tales of the Tang Dinasty. Despite the four episodes going by pretty fast, I felt something was missing. I'm not exactly bored, but I'm not attached to the characters yet. Maybe I should lower my expectations? I set them high because I've watched some of the cast in previous shows and I know they can deliver, but it's not all up to them since the production team, script also can make or break a show.

😂😂😂 I wonder if they did it on purpose because it looked too much like cracked, bleeding lips. Lol

Also, why do they wear lipstick on just one lip. It looks like they are bleeding.

It has slowed down significantly since around ep. 18. My favorite parts were the game scenes, but they have changed it to be more about emotions and it's beginning to get boring. Their actions also make no sense. They know they are being monitored both inside and outside of the game, but they are not being careful at all. Their actions scream they are living with 1980s technology instead of 2020s.

I might watch if "Farinda" is not in it. The romance in part one made no sense for me.

I'm at ep. 18 and there are lovelines, but not full blown out romances (thank the drama gods).
