I was not as "attached" to Bian Luo Han Xu Kai as I am to Yue Jinzhao Xu Kai, so I thought I wouldn't really have a reaction to THAT scene, but I still felt sad. Especially when he talks to YJZ while doing the exchange.

So... Zhao Yan is "atoning" for her brother's crime and that's fine. However, in comes this woman, whose father died, angrily asking if she has a right to scold.

Girl, at that point, not even Maiming is to blame for his death much less Zhao Yan. Everyone was running AWAY, yet HE DECIDED to run TOWARDS the dangerous situation. I don't care why he did it, but at this point he only has himself to blame for his own death. Plus, she already stabbed Maiming injuring him beyond salvation. She is basically the only one who got her revenge. Go sit at home tending to your father's vigil.

A lot of the movie can be considered sad, but it has a good ending.

The number of episodes (476) coupled with the duration (2 hr. 15 min.) of each one sounds daunting.

I'm at episode 9 of Viki's version, which is around ep. 13. At this point, how long had they been traveling together? Isn't this just se type of Stockholm Syndrome caused by his people pleasing personality and her domineering one?🤣
