while it is true that that's how friendship works, I disagree that Babe handled the situation correctly! You know you're so called best friend is in love with you yet you continue to live your life hoping those feelings will go away eventually is not the right way to go about it. In my opinion that's unhealthy, not selfish and not manipulative! Both of them chose not to address it but let it fester! it's gonna get ugly I'm sure of it.. If Way doesn't wanna move on 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm a little too afraid to watch next week 🙃

I'm not sure if you've noticed but the dynamic of their relationship/friendship isn't the best and they are BOTH to blame for where they are right now. both Babe and Way have been leaning on each other and relying on one another for emotional support, it all went wrong when Way started having feelings for Babe but chose not voice them. instead he'd let those feelings fester to the point where anyone who's been around them long enough would know. Was Babe unaware? of course not! not with those heightened senses of his. He knows his best friend is deeply in love with him, he only chose to ignore it and carry on doing what he's doing. Babe loves Way but not in a romantic way. that's why he went after him and tried to talk him into accepting Charlie as his mate. Kinda selfish, but you can't blame him ALONE in this! It takes two to make or break a relationship no matter how unhealthy it is. In real life it's very easy to delude yourself into thinking "he'll continue to fuck around but eventually he'll come to me" similarly, it's very easy for the other party to reassured themselves by thinking "he'll grow out of those feelings one day".
Not gonna lie, Way broke my heart with his reaction at the end of the episode but who's to say Babe isn't hurting! he never wanted to lose his best friend and despite him feeling happy about being with Charlie he'd still have that heartache that his best friend isn't on his side.
My only question now is kinda obvious: is Way going to back off now or will he continue to try and manipulate Babe to drive a wedge between him and Charlie?
I'm so eager to find out 🤔
