Y'all I don't think Shu Lang is doing anything to "punish" Fan Xiao. I think he's genuinely became numb. He hates the man trapping him and seriously contemplating ending his life as an escape 😢... This episode was extremely hard to watch 😭 I need something healing this evening other than soup 😞 any suggestions?
well he is a pure villain but he doesn't have to stay in that lane when the story ends. I also don't sympathise…
I'm really enjoying this series. a bit more than I thought i would if I'm being honest. but just like anyone else I'm struggling with Fan Xiao's character after he broke Shu Lang 😢 I'll always be rooting for Shu Lang but is Fan Xiao the right man for him?
This series is all I think about... I need help 😫 As we're approaching the end I feel like this story is DELIBERATELY walking a very thin and uncomfortable line here. Because I can't help but wonder why does Fan Xiao feel like a pure villain instead of the anti-hero 🤔 he uses power and wealth as tools not safety nets he manipulates situations and people rather than reacting to them. he objectifies Shu Lang's emotions as something to win or control he shows premeditation not impulsive moral failure. and this point is key because usually anti-heros act badly in moments of weakness. Fan Xiao, on the other hand, acts badly with intent. which is why my brain is going: What exactly is the crack I'm meant to sympathise with? 🤔
So what do you do if you come home one day and find out your ex had bugged your entire place with "not so much" hidden cameras 🤔 Call up an escort, get hot and heavy with them and make hime lose his sh*t 😂 that was one hella of a move Shu Lang, hats off 🙂↕️
it definetly would not be the same. Its really not weird if do not make it sound weird.
Growing up with someone knowing they're your sibling, you can't develop other feelings for them other than a siblings' bond imo. this is why I find this difficult to understand.
At this stage I just hope Fan Xiao pays dearly for what he'd done to Shu Lang 😢 he literally picked the most beautiful soul on earth and decided to screw up his entire existence just for the hell of it! I really can't stand how evil he is 😞 why should he ever get a happy ending 😒
I mean they couldn't have made them childhood neighbours or maybe childhood best friends at school or something?! why does it have to be her adopted brother?! it doesn't sound right at all 🫤
