So the story starts when Fan Xiao meets Shu Lang after a fender bender. I honestly thought Xiao was instantly attracted to Shu Lang, that's why he sent someone to crash into his car on purpose so they'll meet again. But after rewinding, it sounded like Xiao isn't into men! At least he's still not acknowledging it yet. But when he found out Shu Lang was dating a guy he said "well I guess no one is perfect" it's the type of comment that someone will make when they don't fully accept same sex relationships as normal.
Am I making sense 🤔

This is insane! China really went "hold my beer" with BLs this year and now they're on fire!
2 episodes and I'm officially hooked. The story is so engaging and the boundaries are being pushed to the max. I'm not a big fan of cheating storylines but I have to admit, this strategy of stealing the guy by seducing him and his boyfriend behind the scenes is quite new to me 🤭 got a few questions though

what is Hua country? is it a fictional place?
did the first car accident happen in Thailand or Hua country? what about the hospital incident?
If the events are taking place in Thailand why is everyone speaking Mandarin? sorry I got confused with locations
Is Xiao Chinese on his mother's side and Thai on his father's or is it the other way around 🤔 because his siblings were calling him "illegitimate" so I assumed he's the mistresses son

yes but the three of them are, however Risa lost all her humanity in the process and turned onto a path of no redemption. killing Chet's mother solidified her status. She showed no remorse and I suspect she won't shed a tear now that her father is dead. She still wants both of her brothers gone so she could take over.

yeah but I found it odd that she didn't know much about consent beforehand. Perhaps she needs a lot of training herself. Still I don't think she should've asked Ice of all people to perform infront of a camera after everything he'd been through 😢 this type of trauma is nearly impossible to heal without proper therapy 😞 I honestly don't know where this show is going

Not exactly, especially if you look at her planning and scheming behind the scenes. Perhaps she appeared benign in the first few episodes but quickly her true colours were exposed when things came to a head and she realised her opportunity to gain power had come. She doesn't spare anyone on her path and she won't hesitate to shed blood. Being able to take someone else's life requires a lot of boldness and that normally comes from pure hatred or some sort of past trauma (that doesn't include psychopaths). I'd say her hated is not fully justified because her and her mother were marginalised while Pheem's mother was murdered right before his very eyes! Chet's mother even tried to kill him too but failed that's why the father sent him abroad. Risa wasn't targeted as much as Pheem only because she's a girl, a classic case of "they always underestimated me, now look what I can do to you"
