I don't think it was what Mark did in particular that made me think he was being a d*ck. It was more the way he was doing it that ticked me off. I would be extremely offended if Mark dismissed me as if I was a child and told me to stay in the car! Tong was trying to diffuse the situation by offering to stay in the car with him which proves my point that the atmosphere was really awkward! remember Mark isn't human but Tong and Tonkla are. that's either miscommunication or bad writing because Tonkla knows now that Mark is a vampire but he doesn't quite grasp the idea that he doesn't behave like humans i.e. being considerate to someone else's feelings. I made the reference to their basketball team to point out their growing friendship which doesn't explain why Mark would grab Tonkla's face the way he did instead of using words or approaching his "friend" more gently! I think the writer couldn't make up their mind, is Mark becoming more human or not?! because if he is then his actions should be different towards Tonkla as well and not just towards Tong. Besides, when people get hypnotised by Nakan they literally behave like zombies.. it won't be so hard to tell he's hypnotised. Did you see how that 8 year old girl behaved under Nakan's influence?!
Going back to my uni days if I was walking with my friends and one them tries to stop the other from telling me a secret I would be enraged as well and storm off but I wouldn't throw myself at the dangerous dude who chased down my friend and tried to hurt him! it seemed like lazy writing to me trying to come up with excuses why Tonkla chose Nakan's side! Nakan's face was expressionless when Tonkla sat there and told him what he's afraid of! Does he really look like the kinda guy that you'd pour your heart out to 🤔? If they made Nakan more manipulative and charming like Hannibal Lecter for example then that scene would've been more relatable.

Yes I would scold Tong for not trusting me and give him the exact same answer "come back when you decide to trust me" and storm off in rage. But I wouldn't get into that black van (which looks exactly like the kind of van that's designed to kidnap you and sell your organs) with the guy whom I literally described as the "main villain" a few days ago after that trojan horse debate! pretty sure that's how I would get myself killed so this isn't about Tong and Mark anymore it's about keeping MYSELF out of harms way 😒

Didn't he see Nakan- with his own two eyes- chase down Tong and try to hurt him?! doesn't that scream DANGER all over?!

Also Mark was being a d*ck to Tonkla since the start of the episode for no good reason 😕 and then instead of talking like normal people he decided to grab his face to "check" if he was hypnotised or not?! why?! haven't they been playing basketball for a while and had a good relationship where they can communicate better?! It seems as if Mark had forgotten everything Tong had taught him about friendship 🫤.

Anyway, my opinion, bad writing 🙄. So far the only thing that's keeping the show together is Joss and Gawin with their outstanding performance and insane chemistry. Their interactions on screen are very well crafted you'd think they've been working together for years... that's probably why I'm still watching. And before y'all come at me, I'm not hating on the series, I still love it and will continue to watch because it's not all bad, it's just that the plot holes are becoming more noticeable as the story progresses 🤷🏻‍♀️

If someone dreams of becoming a singer or actor, they shouldn't have to sacrifice their mental health or privacy as the price for pursuing their passion—especially when that suffering is often caused by the very people who are meant to support them: the fans. I don't think you need to worry about Joss and Gawin as a new CP I think they're already received very well by fans. when couples fail in this industry it's always due to the lack of chemistry and if they're not convincing enough as a couple. But here I can see that the entire fandom is smitten by their performance and as BL fan my YouTube and Instagram feed is filled to the brim with edits of their scenes together, their interviews and any interactions they might have had. in fact if it wasn't for those two this series would've flopped really hard because of all the plot holes in the story and Mond's bad action (please don't get me started on that one 😆). So yeah, don't worry about the ratings, just enjoy the show and continue to support it and we're all supporting it with you 😊.
