what about Babe? Surely he must be traumatised after what Willy did to him. He knows now no one will believe that…
I think what's really concerning here is that you're making it sound like "Babe brought this on himself" which is a typical victim blaming statement π
I'm not judging you, I'm only trying to make you look at this situation from a different angle.
There're two major flaws with Babe here and I've mentioned that in my comments several times before. Babe is a man who's arrogant and overly confident. And him and Charlie never learned how to communicate better as a couple. Both hide things from one another thinking they're protecting each other. We all heard it when Charlie was giving Jeff relationship advice: "we just have sex" but sex doesn't resolve everything!
A combination of both made Babe walk right into Willy's trap! and that resulted in what we all saw at the end of this f*ckin episode!
Perhaps no one should be that stupid, but in result it's NOT their fault if they end up stripped down naked and pinned down to a wall by a guy who seemed normal on the outside but only then turned out to be strong enough to overpowered them!
Men don't normally anticipate being victims of SA but women always do. that's why we go out clubbing in groups, carry pepper sprays, cover our drinks, never walk alone late a night... and the list goes on.... But do you know what men do to protect themselves from SA?! Nothing! because they are NOT usually the victims! That is why Babe is going to cry his eyes out to Charlie trying to convince him that HE was the victim but no one will believe him! Not even his friends π’
With that being said, let me ask you, have you watched love in the air?! what did you think of Sky when he walked into that hotel room with his ex?! did you also think he should be "called out for his stupidity"?
Have you watched Top Form yet?! Did you also think Akin was stupid for getting completely drunk around Johnny?
Also have you watched a series called "13 reasons why"? I really want to know because I have a very important question to ask you.
to be honest i believe that willy wasnt intending to r*pe babe, but he knew that charlie was there so hed get…
π΅βπ« Are you serious?! What does that mean? Does your theory make Willy NOT a predator? If my "intentions" were NOT to r*pe someone, but just to make it look like I was going to, then what does "that" make me?! Also, what about the person that I was doing that to? Aren't they going to be equally traumatised?! Babe was pinned down to the wall and stripped down naked! But according to you that's OKAY because Willy was only staging a r*pe scene but not going to actually engage in one! is that what you're trying to say? I am really struggling to understand your logic!
So, here's a thought π€ Villains are always going to be attractive in these dramas! you just have to remember your morals when the villain of the story is a F*CKIN PREDATOR! Geeze π
personally I think it's KentaKim I just have a hunch
exactly π― it never did. Just look at AiDi and ChenYi in Kiseki: Dear To Me. I think i tend to believe it's Kenta because he's got that brooding dark mysterious thing going on this season while Kim is the cute, caring and attentive one π₯°... I could be wrong though so we have to wait and see
Are you surprised? I saw this coming a mile away.Right from when Willy would ignore boundaries and touch Babe…
Girl you've just summarised everything that I've been hollering about for the last few episodes in the comments! not sure if you've seen my comment from few days ago or the one I posted last night. I just lost it! people are delulu AF π€― in what universe is what Willy is doing "charming " or "sexy"? from the way he invaded his space on the hospital bed to him sniffing and kissing his skin while Babe keeps pushing him away! he clearly doesn't want it! he's not enjoying it?! so what is everyone on about? what bloody chemistry?! No one takes women seriously when they report a male's inappropriate behaviour but what's worse is that no one actually believes a man can be sexualy harassed by men or women! I thought this generation had more awareness than mine when it comes to these things but I guess I was dead wrong π«€
the reflections off of peteβs bum in the pool scenes were glorious. boy was in his birthday suit.
π€£π€£ GIRL!! I'm howling π€£π€£ hats off to the best comment of the night I've been a sucker for sugar daddy Pete since S1 and I still hadn't noticed π€£π€£ I had to go back to that scene and zoooooooom π€£π€£π€£
OH! FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING THAT'S HOLY!! π€― what on earth is wrong with y'all π€¦π»ββοΈ have we watched the same bloody ending or what?! WTF do you call that?!.. oh! I don't know? call me crazy but I call that SA π³ ... what did y'all see that I didn't π
Willy is telling, not only Babe, but every single one of us that "Babe wouldn't want a guy like me anyway" and then he proceeds to do what he did π±...
I'm not sure why women get a pass at sexual assault and the romanticization of it with very little complaint.…
Oh Honey! what on Earth are you watching! π€£ In what show did you see June pinning Penny against the desk and kissing her?! π€ She seduced her slowly into giving in to the kiss .. it was a naughty scene not a forced one! π€ You wanna call out forced kissing? You should be criticising every Chinese drama that's airing these days! listen, I'm very well known around these forums for calling out $exual harassment when I see it in dramas and that scene didn't make me uncomfortable at all. I was just kinda "meh" about it cause I didn't feel their chemistry π€·π»ββοΈ. Plus they're not a cute couple IMO
Only reason Iβm hoping Babe cheats on Charlie is because Charlie deserves so much more then Babe. They are such…
Let's dissect this together, shall we?π
If you truly love Charlie, you wouldn't want him to be cheated on! That would break his heart and it may take forever for him to heal!
Remember, Charlie is also an alpha and alphas normally form a lifelong bond with their partner. If you want him to be happy, you would want him to walk away from Babe by his own will. That is if you truly believe Babe is a toxic partner.
I did mention in my comment that Babe is handling Charlie's insecurity about Willy very poorly and that's his biggest mistake. Whether it was letting Willy get under his skin or taunting Charlie with a comment along the lines of "you need to up your game so I won't look at other alphas" ... well that was incredibly stupid! but it's all down to Babe's personality: arrogant, proud, hot headed, being a playboy who'd spend his adult years being chased by alphas left and right, never been in a serious relationships.. etc However, Babe is not a toxic partner. A toxic partner is the type of person that puts down their other half at every opportunity they get just to ensure that they stay by their side because they can't do better.
We saw Babe train Charlie very hard so that he'll achieve his own dream which was becoming a top tier racer! And when Charlie STOLE his powers, Babe couldn't care less as long as Charlie is alive and well and wasn't lying to him like he initially thought (the scene were he was flinging Charlie's clothes downstairs like an angry wife throwing out her cheating husband's clothes from the balcony π€£)
I think you're not actually "seeing" the love Babe has for Charlie. I think you either have forgotten those important parts of season 1 where Babe was falling for Charlie and unable to resist his cheeky charm or you're focusing only on the negative side of things. I'm not judging you, I'm only trying to remind you.
At the end of the day we are watching a drama. And no one is perfect in those dramas. Charlie choses to love Babe despite his flaws in communication and his arrogant nature. Babe never backs down from a challenge even though it's clear as day Willy is trying to set him up!
This season is about how they're going to grow as a couple, because one thing they didn't learn how to do at the end of season 1 and that is how to communicate better. We see them still hiding things from one another and not expressing their feelings openly.. both of them. Don't forget that Charlie went to the length of faking his own death to protect Babe, and that nearly killed Babe if he wasn't so adamant on getting revenge for his lover.
I hope I managed to paint a picture here... yet againπ Alright, I'm off to watch Knock Out now cause I finished work and that's my treat π
π€ Girl! I'm not disputing that... he's a 10 but we're watching Pitbabe here. not la usurpadora where Charlos Daniel was cheating on Paola with her "good" twin π€£
I was watching the first 15 minutes of episode 6 and just realised that I'm out here cussing P'Sorn every episode for being and an a$$ ... and then Juin let's him do THAT to him every night π€£π€£π€£
Y'all need to stop rooting for Babe to cheat with Willy just because you find him cute π€¦π»ββοΈ!
This isn't the 90s and we're not watching a Telenovela where we are expected to idealise passion over morality!
While Babe is your typical rich but arrogant male lead, Willy isn't the sweet and innocent female protagonist who "awakens his heart" and Charlie is definitely not the evil, often "emotionally distant" girlfriend who "drives" his man into the arms of a different lover due to his lack of passion .. lol
I hope I managed to paint a picture here π€¨
With that being said, do I think Babe is handling Willy's situation completely wrong?! ABSOLUTELY! Babe is an arrogant and passionate competitor who never backs down from a challenge. Willy knows that all too well, that's how he's playing Babe like a toy pushing his buttons like no one has. Also, when you're in a relationship you need to learn how to deal with your partner's insecurities when it comes to other people, boldly, trying to steal you away! So far Babe is handling Charlie's jealousy very poorly. In my opinion of course
I'm not judging you, I'm only trying to make you look at this situation from a different angle.
