I don't know about the lesser of two evils TBH with you girl! he was already abusing DaOn physically, what starts with a scratch normally ends up with broken bones. in the end he was either gonna kill his partner or kill someone close to him out of jealousy/rage ... . so when we say "what could've been" would've had a tragic ending anyway. Also I don't think he genuinely cared about DaOn! he definitely wanted to possess him but it was all about him not about DaOn or what he needs
Also, SuHyeon's character reminds of that horrible male lead in that 365 days movie (two hours of my life I'll never get back🙄" I honestly didn't see any charisma especially when he called up a meeting for everyone in the company just to question the relationship between DaOn and Seong Hyeon! infront of everyone! 😵‍💫 like... dude! I'm embarrassed for you 🤭. Also that scene in the office when he called them both just to show off .."he's mine! he sounded incredibly spoiled and entitled!
with that been said, I do think Cha JungWoo who played his character is really hot! he stole my heart and I won't apologise for it 🤭

I sill don't know why SuHyeon agreed to strike that deal with JaeMin in the first place and I'm not sure if they'll explain that in the next 2 episodes though. to me it sounds too far fetched for a raging bull like SuHyeon to just agree to give up on DaOn and pretend to date his own nemesis instead! those two despised each other! how did they pretend to be boyfriends 🤔

I think his abusive nature wasn't fully pronounced when they both met at uni 7 years ago. they were basically going through what's called the "honeymoon phase" in the cycle of abuse when he was trying to win DaOn's affection. I have to admit though their library scene was incredibly beautiful and well crafted, perhaps that's why a lot of the younger audience may be influenced to believe he's the right partner for DaOn. Add that to the fact that the actor is playing the character very well. his looks, his mannerisms even his voice and the way he portrayed his possessiveness over the man he loves are all on point.. so, yeah... Dark romance girlies are team SuHyeon no doubt about it 🤭. on the other hand, I'm having trouble understanding why some of us keeps blaming JaeMin for how SuHyeon is abusing DaOn! No he didn't "turn" this way because of the drama that happened 7 years ago! I've said that in a previous comment before : SuHyeon would've turned into an abusive partner no matter who he ends up with or what drama unfolds between them three. Jealous/possessiveness partners never change, these things come by nature the trick is being able to control it, which clearly SuHyeon is incapable of doing. DaOn had gotten over him during those last 7 years, if he didn't he would've accepted the ring ... that's why SuHyeon went all hail Mary and decided to uncover the truth about JaeMin... I'm not sure what will take for him to give up and let DaOn go?! I've not read the webtoon or Mahwa(whatever it's called) because I don't want any spoilers I didn't even want to see the preview for the last 2 episodes 😅
