While I liked Hello Monster,I would rate this much higher than that..The difference lies in acting.CSW is miles ahead of Seo In Guk and I really like Seo In Guk !

Super addictive.Am at ep 27 .Sure,it has it's starting problems in Ep 1 which long length show doesn't? but keeps getting interesting.
A mix of multiple romance storylines,comedy,mystery and angst.Has some of the best comedy scenes I've seen and Kim Kap Soo is in his element as the meddlesome family patriarch everyone hates..

This show is not deserving at all of the hate it gets ! Father I'll take care of you ,Bad thief Good Thief and now this show make me reconsider MBC family drama offerings much more positively..

Love the OST..

The show that made me an instant fan of Yoon Si Yoon and Joo Won. The real strength of the show lies in the first few eps with the Child actors (Unmissable!) And later on as Kim Tak Gu (Yoon Si Yoon) gets involved in competitions with his antagonist stepbrother (Joo Won) and always moves everyone's heart with his never give up attitude.

All the actors have their best here..The pace picked up superbly in the last leg of the show as secrets are revealed and Joo Won's character redeems himself

One of the best underdog stories ever.Many have a gripe with the way the initial female lead ended up with the brother but if you see the show you'll feel that Kim Tak Gu got the better end of the deal and ended up with a more pure and sweet person..

A classic kdrama that you should definitely try

Immensely rewatchable! 4th time rewatching this and the OTP is just so good..Writing ,acting,music are all tops here.Great show to watch if you are a Yoon Si Yoon fan

I haven't finished it but I think it was just Soo Hos way of taking revenge on his brother who was the reason his beating actually started.Yes,he is quite bad that way.

Just do it..He is superb in this !

What a show ! Yoon Shi Yoon never disappoints in terms of performance and this show sticks to that trend.Am upto ep 13 but the show keeps getting better and better with each episode. Seriously,am surprised how many have criticized his acting here..This is one if the BEST kdrama dual roles I have seen and I have seen quite a few.

The supporting cast is selected quite well and even villains are quite hate-inspiring (have the most hatred for the sexual harasser prosecutor).The show succeeds in its world making to a large extent and stands out from the recent "Switch" purely due to an intense story and ,of course, YSY

Glad I held off watching this when it was on..The suspense would have been killing..

Am at ep 14 and this show is getting to a 10 status in the final episodes.Bringing out the secrets and the impact is so strong!

Am quite late to the party (the show is completed) but I wanted this show to be done first to start watching it. I love this PD's shows (I can hear your voice,Pinochhio,Cheongdamdong Alice are some of my faves) and have binged on all of them .All the shows have good stories and superb music.This one is in the same league.Am at Ep 10 till now and it really is a well made show so far.

It really is a romantic drama filled with endearing characters and a lot of heart.This is my first show watching Yang Se Jong in the lead and he is quite good here. Shin Hye Sun is also quite good but was better in My Golden Life.

This show is exactly how saeguks must be made.Each actor has done well in their role. It was also the beautiful writing and the amazing soundtrack that kept me riveted.

Started off on this as this was written by the writer of Rebel and the premise seemed to be intriguing .This is mostly an intense family drama set in saegukland,the payoff in the final episodes is immensely good .
Was almost tempted to give it a 10(settled to 9.5).

If you like Saeguks in lush settings,superb OTP chemistry and intense emotional dramas you should not miss this one!

Probably,people weren't comfortable with the pairing..LMH is sensational as the Goryeo era warrior in this..KHS ,however,wasn't that great.

Just got to listening the OST and remembered why I liked the show all over again..The theme music in this is so good..The OST is a treat to your ears as it is filled with superb little gems.All the dramatic scenes in this show get elevated to another level with the OST.
If you haven't tried Kdrama OSTs this is one of the best out there

I agree that the show was superb for almost 3/4th of its run..Still,was this kind of an ending really necessary?The writer took the wrong turn here and it shows that he hasn't written a single drama since.-which is a shame as he/she wrote superb stuff till the end

I am never again picking up 50 ep dramas when they air..Sometimes the show keeps getting better like The Father is strange but then sometimes,shows like this happen that start well but don't sustain the momentum..In the end it started resembling daily soaps.No one ,except the writer and the director is to be blamed for the poor last 10-15 or so episodes.This was poor from KBS standards ,coming on the back of 2 super successful shows (My Father is strange and My Golden Life).

She didn't live.If you see the end,there is a chain of people doimg organ donation .Startd with CEOs wife ,moves to Bom Yi and then to an unknown third person

A great example of how to make a superb romantic melodrama till its end .However,the curse of the ending strikes again in the last episodes

Sooyoung is a revelation in this role..She had a very meaty role and carried it off superbly.The writing was tops till around ep 14-15..I was instantly hooked with Ep 1 and binged it pretty fast in 2 days .Great actors, a good OTP and nice music but personally didn't like the direction the show took in the ending episodes.Now,will need to quickly watch a pick me up show to erase the impact of the ending .

Still,would recommend watching it for the acting of Sooyoung and Kam woo sung which was just perfect for this show.. The Rom com aspect till around Ep 12 is awesome !
