I think this is overrated. The story does not have any romantic elements after naming it "My mister "???? I get sad /bittersweet endings but what is the point of this?
Similar to another show-they named "The king loves " and it was basically the love story of the kings friend
This show was a whiff of fresh air for me.NGM playing the lead and so well was definitely the highlight. The show was beautifully written and directed.Cinematography was superb and made the scenes a joy to look at..I also liked the friendship the 3 main leads shared which overcame the triangle as well as later problems. Great family drama overall!
The OST was fantastic as well and many of the shows tunes are a part of my playlist.
This show actually surprised me.I was not expecting to like a show with themes this show explores and had kept off watching the show due to this. I became a fan of City Hunter show and decided to check out this show only bcoz it starred Lee Min Ho
Surprisingly,it was very well written and while lee min Ho is very natural and handsome, Son He Jin lives her role as Gae in..The scene in which she tries to dress up as a man for Lee Min Ho (she thinks he's gay !) was one of the best depictions of romantic love I have seen..
Awesome romcom drama show that gets slightly heavy in the latter part of the second half.Still, better than many shows out there!
I remember hesitating to watch this drama for the longest time but then once I finally watched it, I ended up…
Great to see this comment as I have seen City Hunter and Healer and while Healer is very good,it simply doesn't have the robust storyline, casting ,action or emotions this one has..
I loved the first half but started hating the second half.
In first half,Rain was superb as a sleazy young private eye and had excellent chemistry with Lee Na Young (very beautiful here!) As the client who engages him on a personal mission...Lee Jung Jin was an awesome second foil as the harassed cop chasing them across multiple locations. The fights and Running scenes were so good, i started wondering why this show didn't have a rabid following like many mania dramas.
Then,as the second half progressed, i understood that the writer had left all the enjoyable tropes employed earlier and settled for another dreary crime thriller. Episodes started becoming a chore to watch and I could no longer connect with the actions of both the male leads. Many stories were introduced and left abruptly in the second half.
This show had the potential to be an awesome action comedy thriller but I guess, this genre is best left to movies..
Was really hyped to have stumbled upon this underrated gem till Episode 28.Then,sort of understood the idiocy route They were taking and dropped it.From the comments below you would get what I am talking about..
I have a major grouse against this show'creators..Why make one of the strongest Kdrama character leads (Kim young Kwang is on fire in this..) and then deal with his character so shabbily..
Illogical ending to an otherwise mostly inspiring and thrilling show..
In hands of a better writer, this show would have rivalled Healer,The K2 and City Hunter
Avoided this drama for lot of time and I don't really like the genre a lot. However, am at Ep 15 now and the show has been a great journey.Performances and writing are what that make this show so good..
It was one of the earliest Hallyu crazes and while not the best drama ever, has enough meat in its story and visuals to justify the fandom.
The OST is awesome and the F4 gang was excellent in their roles.
I would seriously ask people who didn't like this at first to give this a second go. This is my goto show for comedy, romance and a soothing OST..

Hope it picks up once the other on going dramas end
