Ep.25: FL irritated me here. Is it really hard to understand why ML wouldn't throw his uncle under the bus? It's wrong, yes, but Nan Heng doesn't have that many people in his life who he can call family or who'd stand by his side. The number is too small to be counted on one hand.

Watched the confrontation in Ep.24 and it was disappointing. FL starts by telling him to explain then tells him not to say anything, throws a few accusations, then leaves. This was supposed to be the climax or turning point at least but it played like previous encounters.

What I find anachronistic and hard to believe is the way CGH keeps calling NH by his given name. That wouldn't be acceptable no matter the circumstances. He'd be beaten with a stick a few dozen times at least for disrespecting the imperial family. But it seems like the script here wants us to believe it's okay
