Just started this. This is a good production for a Cdrama. Although I'm surprised by how naive the Xiyan royal siblings are. Did no one school them in politics?

We're talking about different things. As a viewer and a human being, I agree with you. As a writer, a character must have a certain characteristics and a pillar to build around. His has been justice for his family and by extension to others who face the same tragedy, but he wavers a lot during the first 6 episodes. It's shoddy writing on part of the scriptwriter.

Of course. But I am talking in the context of his characterization in the drama, not as our empathy with him as viewers. This is probably why some viewers find him annoying. He's not consistent in his actions/beliefs.

Han Da On's behaviour is erratic. I can't figure out if he wants to protect the innocent and uphold the law or if he's going vigilante. Justitita's court rulings at least have the flimsy excuse of legal procedures on her side, but he seems like a trauma victim more than a detective.

Demons are not supposed to feel emotions. Not the softer, more positive ones at least.

Series about revenge or demons will usually have a high level of violence. I can't remember who started the trend, HBO or Netflix maybe.

I was surprised too but violence against women in South Korea is a real problem there so maybe they were trying to drive home the point of how the justice system failed these women. The other day there was news about a man who buried his girlfriend in cement in his apartment's balcony.

This airs only on Fri/Sat? I need more XD
