I know it may be misleading when I say that the kdrama remake for BOF got lots of remakes from other countries and e.t.c but it's actually true after the kdrama other countries wanted to try it out too like America, came out China is now making a remake of Meteor Garden but they never would have thought much of it if did not become a hit and Japan also is deciding to make but they would have never really thought of it much if Meteor Garden (2018) was not to be made so it's a chain of effects here

Hana Yori Dango manga> Meteor Garden> Hana Yori Dango > (then BOf making the F4 thing to be a big hit) Boys Over Flower s> Lets go watch Meteor Showe r and e.t.c

So really it it wa for BOF China would have not made Lets go watch Meteor shower literally 7 months after first Aired and meteor garden (2018) and Japan would have made hana nochi hate and would also not be thinking of making another Hana Yori dango remake. And the Philippines would have probably not made a BOFs remake that aired in 2011 and same goes to America that aired 2013.
